Dr. M.G. Ragunathan obtained Ph. D Degree in 1996 and his area of specialization is Crustacean Reproduction. Recipient of several fellowships from reputed Academic societies of the country, recipient of Dr. G.K. Kulkarni gold medal, Environmental Sciences gold medal, Dr. Dutta Munshi gold medal and Dr. K.K. Tyagi gold medal for his contribution in Zoology. Regional in charge and executive member of Zoological Society of India, Bodh Gaya . Member of editorial boards of several international journals. Published 120 research papers in the National and International journals. Recognized supervisor of University of Madras and guiding students for M. Phil and Ph. D degree programs. Written several books in Zoology at both School and College level. Council member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata Presently the Executive members of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata
