I am a M.S. Atmospheric Candidate at Hampton University and a NOAA EPP/MSI Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Scholar. My research interests are to understand and demystify hurricane research for disciplines that rely on such research. This mission of understanding and demystifying research aligns with NOAA’s mission to predict and understand the environment, and as well as preserving and managing coastal and marine resources. Currently, I am working with Dr. Stephen Guimond on validating comparisons of model simulations and radar observations (IWRAP and TDR) in the hurricane boundary layer.

EDUCATION

I earned my B.S. in Meteorology at Virginia Tech and am currently pursuing a M.S. in Atmospheric Science at Hampton University.
