Essences of Ownership-The Copyrightability and Intellectual Property Issues Surrounding Fragrances A. Afaq, Devika Raj Journal of Intellectual Property Rights, 2026 There is a certain discord regarding the copyrightability of fragrances in India. Various arguments defy the contentions that are for and against the very premise of fragrances falling under the ambit of Intellectual Property. This manuscript would include the aspects that are at stake in dialogue whenever the difference with respect to the plight of fragrances falling under the aegis of copyright is discussed. The topic is controversial and brings in different postulations. A comparison is drawn with regard to the plight of copyrightability in various countries. The essentiality of fragrances is also put forward. The very premise of fragrances is compared to other identical commodities, and the future prospects regarding bringing fragrances under the ambit of Intellectual Property are discussed. Also, the advent of not being able to copyright generic scents is a foundation of contrivances blessed by nature. Fragrances can be subject to duplication because of the commonality of certain fragrances, and the very aspect of differentiation is hard to scale and define; however, it is high time that a probable solution is garnered.
Technologies based on the IoT and Artificial and Natural Intelligence for Sustainable Agriculture Data Driven Mathematical Modeling in Agriculture Tools and Technologies, 2024
Optimizing Livestock Feed Formulation for Sustainable Agriculture: A Mathematical Modeling Approach Rutul Patel, Upasana, Ashutosh Pattanaik, Deepak Kumar, Ahmar Afaq, Soma Bag Mathematical Modeling in Agriculture, 2024 In order to manage sow herds, many sow models that have been published in the literature and using various mathematical techniques are surveyed in this study. A broad taxonomy of models was considered, including simulation and optimization. The latter were comprised of the Markov decision models and optimal control as its two main exemplary models, together with linear programming and dynamic programming. We examined basic characteristics and the modeling underpinnings of herd management models in the first stage, and then we looked at various features of sow herd models that have been previously published. The primary variables, the source of the parameters, validation, output, and intended usage all get special consideration. The majority of these models was created as teaching and research aids. In reality, there hasn't been a rise in the number of decision support tools that include such complicated models in real-world settings to match the improvement in our capacity to describe complex systems. It was determined that there was a need for fresh ideas for dealing with variables that weren't time homogeneous and transitory circumstances. For pragmatic reasons, the integration of variability-risk elements and multicriteria decision approaches was moreover intriguing. New management herd models, particularly those that take into account more than one herd at once, are expected as a result of actual developments in the pig industry.

Use of artificial intelligence for image processing to aid digital forensics: Legislative challenges Rajesh Gupta, Manashree Mane, Shambhu Bhardwaj, Ujwal Nandekar, Ahmar Afaq, Dharmesh Dhabliya, Binay Kumar Pandey Handbook of Research on Thrust Technologies Effect on Image Processing, 2023 Use of artificial intelligence for image processing to aid digital forensics is a controversial topic. Some people believe that AI can be very helpful in this field, while others are concerned about the potential misuse of AI technology. There are a few key legislative challenges that need to be addressed before AI can be widely used for image processing in digital forensics. First, there is the issue of data privacy. If images processed by AI contain personal data, then there are risks that this data could be mishandled or misused. There are also concerns that AI could be used to create false or misleading evidence. Another key challenge is ensuring that AI systems are transparent and accountable. If an AI system makes a mistake, it should be possible to understand why it made that mistake and how to avoid similar mistakes in the future. AI has the potential to revolutionize digital forensics, but there are still some important challenges that need to be addressed before it can be widely used.
