Ajit Faras

Mr. Ajit Faras is working as College Librarian with Sateri Pisani Education Society’s, Shri. Gopal Gaonkar Memorial, Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora-Goa since June 2013. Besides these Services, he has served at the Goa University, Taliegoa-Goa, and Kirshnadas Shama Goa State Central Library. He holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and is qualified for UGC-NET, SET in the subject. He is Peer-Reviewer of the Library Scholar journal. He has 4 years of work experience in library administration and management. He has published articles in library and information science journals, conference proceedings, and book Chapters. He has organized webinars, was invited as Resource Person in various Workshop and Training programs, and is an active LIS professional. He has one book chapter published by Knowledge World Publication, Maharashtra to his credit. His research areas are Bibliometrics, Library marketing, and Collection development. He is a life member of Goa Colle
