Oyedayo Phillips Akano

Oyedayo Phillips Akano (PhD) is a Lecturer in the Department of Physiology at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria. He received his Ph.D. in Physiology (Reproductive and Endocrine Physiology) from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2023. He is also a published author and researcher, with over 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Akano's research interests focus on the effects of environmental toxins on reproductive health. He has conducted studies on the effects of lead, aluminum, and detergent-processed cassava on reproductive toxicity in male rats. His research has the potential to improve our understanding of the mechanisms by which environmental toxins can damage reproductive health, and to develop strategies for preventing these effects.
