Performance Assessment of a Flat-Plate Solar Air Collector with Internal Baffles Bakhridin Khasanov, Malohat Habibova, Sarvar Melikuziyev, Anvar Sherov, Khasan Mavlyanov, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2026 This research presents a quantitative analysis of an enhanced solar air collector (flat-plate air collector) featuring internal baffles and various inlets to increase its thermal performance. The system is modeled in COMSOL Multiphysics, where the governing equations for heat transport and fluid flow are resolved using the finite element method (FEM). The modified design increases the outlet air temperature by 8–12 °C and enhances thermal efficiency by 14.6% compared with a conventional smooth flat-plate collector. The simulation will reflect real life daily solar conditions since it takes into consideration effects of varying solar radiation during an 8-hour duration. There are six circular inlets which admit the ambient air into the collector at a constant rate of 0.1 m/s with an inlet temperature 298.15 K. The internal baffles installed on the collector increase heat transfer due to convection, as well as promoting turbulence. The data provides in-depth knowledge of the heat transfer characteristics, temperature distribution and airflow distribution within the collector itself.
Bibliometric and Content Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Thermal Energy Systems: A Review of Scopus-Indexed Publications (2020- 2025) Mirzabek Toshov, Gulbahor Akramova, Shamsiya Alimova, Aziz Ibragimov, Nafisa Raxmonqulova, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2025 This study presents a bibliometric and content analysis of research publications indexed in Scopus between 2020 and 2025. focusing on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in thermal energy systems (TES). Using the search string TITLE-ABS-KEY ("artificial" AND "intelligence" AND "applications" AND "thermal" AND "energy" AND "systems"), a comprehensive dataset was collected and analysed. The results reveal a rapidly growing research trend, with annual publications increasing from 20 in 2020 to a peak of 121 in 2024. Engineering, energy, and computer science emerged as the dominant subject areas, while China. India, and the USA led global contributions. Most documents were original research articles (44.8%), followed by review papers (24.8%) and conference papers (17.6%). Author productivity and institutional analysis identified the Chinese Academy of Sciences. King Khalid University, and Intel Corporation among the leading contributors. The findings demonstrate an expanding interdisciplinary research landscape and highlight AFs vital role in optimizing thermal energy system performance and advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Despite progress, many countries, including Uzbekistan, face challenges in achieving significant improvements in environmental efficiency and sustainability. This study aims to explore and optimize mechanisms for fostering an ecologically clean environment. It seeks to address the formation, development, and efficiency of nature purification strategies, with a particular focus on Uzbekistan. The research employs a comprehensive review of existing environmental policies, efficiency models, and sustainability practices. It includes qualitative analysis of current mechanisms for pollution prevention and ecological management, along with the assessment of their effectiveness. study identifies key strategies for enhancing environmental efficiency and sustainability, including the implementation of advanced purification technologies and improved regulatory frameworks. Findings suggest that targeted interventions and policy adjustments can significantly boost the effectiveness of ecological mechanisms. The research concludes that optimizing mechanisms for an eco-friendly society requires a multi-faceted approach involving technological innovation, policy reform, and community engagement. The proposed strategies offer practical recommendations for enhancing environmental sustainability in Uzbekistan and similar contexts, contributing to the broader goal of an ecologically clean environment.
Medicinal properties of “Péganum hármala" plant Gulbahor Akramova Bio Web of Conferences, 2024 In the article, a thousand еars ago, the legendary scientist and physician Abu Ali ibn Sina (known as Avicenna in Europe) mentioned the beneficial aspects of harmala plant for human health in his "Canon of Medical Sciences". This plant is widely used in folk medicine. Frankincense, known as kharmal in Arabs, garmala or adraspan in Russians, was one of the important elements in many medicinal elixirs of medieval healers. Isiriq grows as a weed in sandy, stony and sandy areas in the desert regions of Bukhara region. It grows a lot around old fences and farms located in the desert and hilly regions of Uzbekistan. Frankincense is a medicinally useful plant. From the point of view of animal husbandry (in some regions it occupies large areas) it is a weed. Peganum harmala is a perennial plant, 40-70 cm tall and 1 meter in diameter. The leaf is simple, divided into 4-5 pieces, and has a gray-green color. The flowers are white and are located singly on the branches. The fruit is spherical and three-lobed. It blooms in May-June and ripens in autumn.
