Amira Mouakher is an Associate Professor at UMR Espace-Dev (University of Perpignan) since September 2022. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (University of Tunis El Manar), specializing in data mining and extracting concise representations of formal concepts. From February 2021 to August 2022, she held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Corvinus of Budapest (Hungary).
Amira's research interests mainly focus on data-driven approaches for Big Data analytics, particularly in the context of urban mobility in sustainable cities and artificial intelligence. She has also been involved in a project related to precise farming, where she worked on knowledge modeling through ontologies.
