The new frontline: AI and social media in information warfare Anjali Dixit Ethical AI Solutions for Addressing Social Media Influence and Hate Speech, 2025 The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and social media has led to a new age of information warfare, marked by the rapid dissemination, manipulation, and strategic orchestration of information to impact public opinion on a global scale. This research delves into the complicated connection between these technologies and their profound implications for contemporary conflicts. AI serves as a robust instrument in the hands of information warriors. Its applications extend to the creation of hyper realistic deepfakes to manipulate public perception, the analysis of vast datasets to measure sentiment and target specific crowd, the automation of propaganda dissemination through bot networks, and the surveillance of online task to identify potential targets for influence operations. Social media platforms, characterized by immense user bases, real-time engagement, and viral potential, have surfaced as the primary battlegrounds for these information wars.
Impact of Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security as Advanced Technologies on Bitcoin Industries Anjali Dixit, Meha Bhushan, Shobha Yadav, Madhuri Aggarwal, Namita Kalita, Harshita Singh 2023 4th International Conference on Computation Automation and Knowledge Management Iccakm 2023, 2023 The proliferation of Internet usage and mobile device technology has resulted in an increase in the size of cyberspace. There is a growing likelihood that cyberspace will be the target of attacks that are fully automated and designed to continue for an extended period of time. Techniques used in cybersecurity make security processes more effective by enhancing their ability to identify and react to intrusions. The previously installed protection mechanisms are no longer sufficient since hackers are becoming more sophisticated and are able to circumvent established security measures. Conventional security solutions are often ineffective because they are unable to recognize previously undiscovered and polymorphic security attacks, which are two of the most common types of security breaches. Methods that make use of machine learning (ML) are crucial for a wide variety of applications pertaining to the field of cyber security. Despite the considerable advances that have been made, there are nonetheless a number of obstacles to overcome while attempting to guarantee the dependability of ML systems. This article presents in-depth analyses of the previous research that has been done on the use of machine learning (ML) techniques for network analysis and intrusion detection. In addition to this, a concise pedagogical explanation of each ML approach is provided. This article provides information on the datasets that are used in machine learning methods, which are the primary tools for analyzing network traffic and locating abnormalities.
Information technology act 2000 and the potential use of data analytics in reducing cybercrime in India Anjali Dixit Handbook of Research on Engineering Business and Healthcare Applications of Data Science and Analytics, 2020 Cybercrime is increasing rapidly in this digitized world. Be it business, education, shopping, or banking transactions, everything is on cyberspace. Cybercrime covers a wide range of different attacks such as financial cybercrime, spreading computer viruses or malware, internet fraud, pornography cybercrime, intellectual property rights violation, etc. Due to increased cyber-attacks these days, the online users must be aware of these kinds of attacks and need to be cautious with their data online. Each country has their own laws for dealing with cybercrime. The different measures taken by the government of India to combat cybercrime are explained in this chapter. How the potential use of data analytics can help in reducing cybercrime in India is also explained.
