Arun Prakash Periasamy
From Nov. 2011 to 2018 he worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow in Prof. Huan-Tsung Chang’s bio and nano analytical group at National Taiwan University, where he developed materials for electro and photocatalysis for the production of value-added products. He then moved to United Kingdom (UK) in Nov. 2018 and joined the group of Prof. Ana Jorge Sobrido at Queen Mary University of London. As a postdoctoral research associate within the School of Materials Science and Engineering, his research centered around the development of sustainable approaches to produce cost-efficient materials for bifunctional catalytic applications. EDUCATION

Dr. Arun Prakash received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from National Taipei University of Technology in June 2011. He was awarded Taiwan government scholarship for pursuing his Ph.D. degree on synthesis of functional nanomaterials for the creation of bioactive interfaces for biosensor applications. He received his B.Sc, M.Sc. and M.Phil degrees from Bharathiar University, India.
