Azad H. Alshatteri is a chemistry lecturer at the University of Garmian in Iraq's Kurdistan region. He received a BSc in chemistry from the University of Sulaimani in 2008, Iraq's Kurdistan region. He completed a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manchester, in the UK in 2013, and his MSc dissertation was titled "Infrared Spectroscopic Techniques to Characterise Thin Polymer Films for Organic Electronics" and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Andrew B. Horn. Currently, he is a PhD candidate under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Khalid Mohammed Omer at the University of Sulaimani, working on bioanalytical chemistry. His research interests include analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, and nanobiosensors.
