    In this work, the degree of automation of mass transfer devices for processing by-products of ethyl alcohol production is analyzed; in this regard, a number of shortcomings are identified, one of which is the optimal automated control of the process of rectification of by-products for the extraction of high-molecular-weight products. alcohols, in our case from non-standard fusel oils. In accordance with the topic, an automated advanced control device for a distillation unit for processing by-products of ethanol production has been developed. An optimal automated control device was developed and a comparative analysis was carried out in the Simulink environment of PID and MPC controllers, as a result of which a more advanced device for automated control of mass transfer processes was proposed.
  • Analysis of common errors and methods of calibration of ultrasonic level meter

    This article is devoted to improve the accuracy of the measuring system to the analyzing of common errors of an ultrasonic level meter designed to measure the level of liquid materials in tanks. To reduce the random error of the measurement system, appropriate measures and compensation methods are presented. As a result, it was revealed that the generalized cumulative error of the device belongs to the interval G = 1.3 - 2%.
  • A Universal Method for Solving the Problem of Bending of Plates of Any Shape

    This paper presents a universal algorithm for solving boundary value problems of bending plates of arbitrary shape. To solve the problem of bending, the method of sources and sinks is used. According to this method, sources and sinks are distributed continuously along a line located outside the area occupied by the plate and similar to the contour of the original plate. By choosing their powers, the conditions at the plate boundary are satisfied.In this paper, we use an elementary solution for the problem of bending a round supported plate and fundamental solutions from a unit transverse force and moment concentrated at a point. Mathematical expressions corresponding to various boundary conditions are given. The boundary value problem is reduced to a system of integral equations. To obtain a stable solution to the system of integral equations, the regularization method with minimization of the Tikhonov functional is applied, the numerical implementation of which will lead to systems of algebraic equations. An algorithm for solving the problem in the MATLAB system is proposed.
