Bamidele, Kafayat Funmi was born on 7th of July in Ile Ife,Osun State Nigeria. I had by first degree in University of Ilorin, my second degree in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. My Ph.D is ongoing and my area of research is the use of natural metabolites from Lactic acid bacteria (Bacteriocin and exo polysaccharide) to preserve and enhance the textural characteristics of Pupuru, a fermented smoked cassava product commonly consumed by the people of riverine area in Ondo State, Nigeria
