Risk assessment based on artificial intelligence assists in monitoring the risks and preventing them as they occur and supporting decision-making processes. This survey aims at examining the applicability of circular economy models in smart cities, the technologies, strategies, and issues related to it for attaining sustainable cities. Examples of the focus areas include smart waste management, renewable energy systems, sustainable water resource management, and circular urban mobility. The use of advanced technologies like IoTs, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and big data in the implementation of circular economy practices is discussed. Business uncertainties, regulatory concerns, and policy challenges including high initial investment, governance issues, and policy frames are discussed, and some recommendations to enhance circular economy in urban environments are provided. With mobile devices, IoT, AI, and enhanced internet speed, there is ongoing health tracking in patient health management solutions, chronic disease management, elderly care, and post-surgery care. A convergence of smart technology, healthcare, and cloud and edge computing make it possible to drive data insights and predictive analytics for enhanced patient care at lower costs or even accessing easy healthcare solutions which are otherwise unavailable for the less privileged. But there are still major obstacles today, such as concerns with information protection, privacy, compatibility, and legislation.
