The Current State and Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan Economy Zh. S. Bulkhairova, N. N. Nurmukhametov, A. Kizimbayeva, A. A. Shametova Economy Strategy and Practice, 2022 The purpose of this article is to analyze the current state and development of women’s entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, which has a significant impact on the sustainable development of business structures. Therefore, in recent years, in the COVID-19 pandemic context, more and more attention has been paid to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises led by women, but in many low-income countries, women entrepreneurs still face significant barriers that do not exist when men are engaged in business. The analysis revealed that in practice, despite the organic changes introduced in COVID-19 pandemic conditions, women’s interest in the entrepreneurial activity organization is increasing every year from the point of view of the formation of the business process culture. The analysis identified the main reasons why women go into business: the desire for financial independence, the desire to realize their business idea, and the opportunity to combine work, family, and entertainment. Consequently, the state institution is actively pursuing a policy to reduce gender inequality, including in the business environment of Kazakhstan. The results of the study confirm that small and medium- sized business support institutions are interested in increasing women’s business, regardless of geographical location (city and village). Statistical analysis shows that the largest percentage of women entrepreneurs in wholesale and retail trade, the smallest percentage of women entrepreneurs is observed in the field of public administration and defense. To increase the business activity of women’s entrepreneurship, recommendations were developed for the formation and creation of a Unified National information Base on the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Issues, 2020 The demand for youth employment is increased due to the development of international integration and improving competitiveness of the labor market in Kazakhstan in line with modern requirements. As a result, most young people face obstacles and difficulties in finding a job in their specialty. The Kazakhstan labor market has been analyzed in the context of the youth unemployment problems issues in this article. Based on the analysis, the main recommendations have been formulated that contribute to improving the situation in the labor market for the youth and reducing their unemployment. The authors have analyzed the dynamics of the self-employed youth and the structure of the youth employment by types of economic activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The situation of food security in Kazakhstan Z. Bulkhairova, G. Saimagambetova, A. Kizimbayeva, G. M. Kadyrova, Sayassat Rahmetova Abdiyeva Space and Culture India, 2019 The research aims to explore the current food security situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan. To accomplish this objective, the research examines some of the critical theoretical and practical aspects of food security in the nation. The findings reveal that when compared with other nations, in the period under analysis the food security level in Kazakhstan has increased reaching the world level. However, there remain many unresolved issues which are impeding progress. As part of the study, the authors conducted a survey by questionnaire designed to explore some of the key consumer motives and preferences underlying the choice of domestic or imported food products; assess the economic accessibility of food in a climate of rising prices and people’s declining purchasing power; to examinewhether, as a result of the economic crisis (2015-2016), most people in Kazakhstan have opted for running a private subsidiary plot or for stocking up on food. The authors propose a model of the organisational structure underlying the process of implementation of Kazakhstan’s strategy for boosting the competitiveness of the nation’s agriculture and ensuring its food security.
