  • "World Café" as an Innovative Method of Teaching Social and Humanitarian Disciplines for the Formation of Competence "Ability to Work in a Team"

    In the article, in the context of modern requirements for the training of graduates of higher educational institutions as highly qualified specialists with an existing set of soft skills tools, an analysis of the formation possibilities of first (bachelor) level higher education graduates in specialty 141 "Electrical Energetics, Electrical engineering and Electromechanics" was carried out competence "the ability to work in a team" in the process of teaching the educational components of the socio-humanitarian block and the application of innovative teaching methods. The analysis of educational and professional programs and information on their self-evaluation of five institutions of higher education of Ukraine made it possible to establish insufficient use of the potential of innovative methods of teaching educational components of the socio-humanitarian block in the formation of general competencies, in particular the competency "ability to work in a team". To emphasize the wide possibilities of modern methods in the formation of general competences, an algorithm for adapting the "World Café" method for teaching social and humanitarian disciplines is proposed.

    The paper presents the practice of the regional educational cluster, the center of which is the classical university - Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University considers the prerequisites for its creation in the aspects of the current world trends and public policy in education. The authors clarify the prerequisites for its creation, stages of formation and principles; represented the benefits of participation in the educational cluster for educational institutions providing vocational training, different levels of education; outlined the main problems of clustering the educational system of the region.
  • Summarizing the Experience of Using Educational Online Platforms in Ukrainian Universities

    The paper is devoted to the analysis of the results of the practical use of educational online platforms on the example of Google Classroom, Microsoft 365, the virtual educational space (VES) of the university based on the Moodle platform by the universities of Ukraine in the process of online education during 2020–2022. Based on the practical experience of teachers and students who used these platforms, recommendations to Ukrainian universities to improve VES as the most promising online educational platform for Ukraine today were substantiated. The prospects of online education were also emphasized, the difficulties of using this form of education for teachers and students were clarified, as well as the fact that the level of absolute success and the quality of success of applicants is significantly affected not so much by the functionality of each of the studied online platforms, but, first after all, psychological factors and the level of digital competences of users.
  • Elective Subjects as an Important Component of the Students' Individual Educational Trajectory Implementation

    The research deals with the concept of individual educational trajectory in the aspect of elective subjects and student’s right to freely choose educational component through the prism of student-centered approach in education. Levels of formation and features of implementing the individual educational trajectory in university (in the process of training students of first (bachelor’s) level of higher education) and higher vocational school (in the process of preparing a professional junior bachelor as a pre-tertiary vocational education) specialty 141 Electrical Energetics, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics. The stages of individual educational trajectory implementation in the context of elective subjects on the example of training junior bachelors are investigated and the specifics of this process are reflected.
  • Empirical Study of Soft Skills Development in Higher Education Graduates Qualification Electrician

    The article highlights the importance of the soft skills system as a set of competencies required by the realities of the economic present. Substantiated necessity of a high level professional training, symbiosis of higher education institutions graduates, including in the Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics fields and their acquisition of soft skills to increase the competitiveness level in the labor market. Highlighted results of an empirical research conducted on the basis of higher vocational school among applicants of incomplete higher education Electrician qualification of interpersonal soft skills component development level. In article proposed the system of psychological and pedagogical measures, implementation of which will improve the future specialist‘s social and personal skills.
  • Facilitation Techniques for the Preparation of the Future Specialists in the Field of the Electrical Engineering

    The results of the approbation of the facilitative way while the process of the students of the 141 Electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics speciality studying, which actuality is based on using innovative pedagogical methods in order to increase the level of competencies of the future professionals are represented in the given work. The features of the pedagogical facilitation, its principles are shown. The main stages of the empirical study of the features of the implementation of the facilitative system, their functions, techniques, used methods and the results of the implementation are represented.
