Dr. Surjeet Chahal joined the Department of Physics, School of Physics Sciences, DIT University in May 2022. He has worked as a Professor at Korea University, South Korea, where his research work was focused on the fabrication of transition metal di-chalcogenides (TMDs) for photoelectrocatalytic applications. During his graduate studies, he explored metal oxide nanostructured materials for photocatalytic applications. His M.Sc. Physics and B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics are from Panjab University and the University of Delhi, respectively. Dr. Chahal has been a part of 50 journal publications, book chapters, and patents.
