Dav is a PhD in Geomatics with multidisciplinary expertise in ecology, forestry, ecophysiology, pedology, and programming. His deep passion lies in remote sensing and its applications in natural resource management. His research focuses on the processing and analysis of passive and active remote sensing data, as well as the development of methodologies for environmental monitoring, epidemiology, and natural hazard assessment. He is particularly interested in data-driven approaches and physical modeling to study the Earth system through optical and radar remote sensing, employing advanced image processing techniques. His holistic vision and expertise enable him to make significant contributions to the understanding and preservation of our environment.
