  • DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN ATTACK-RESISTANT IOT CLOUD CONVERGENCE ALGORITHM USING ATTRIBUTE-BASED ENCRYPTION

International Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2025
As the number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices grows quickly, it becomes harder to keep data handling and communication safe in cloud settings. This paper describes how an attack-proof IoT cloud convergence method was designed and built. It uses Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) to provide strong security and fine-grained, attribute-based access control. The suggested framework uses CP-ABE based on the Bethencourt-Sahai-Waters (BSW) method to make key generation, sharing, encryption, and decoding safe and user-attribute-aligned. This makes sure that only authorised users can access critical data. To make sure the encryption is strong and works well, the method uses the JPBC library to perform pairing-based cryptography processes. Using attribute-based registration and login, the user module makes sure that users are who they say they are and that they have the right permissions. The system handles files by encrypting them with lightweight AES for privacy, hashing them with SHA-256 for integrity checks, and letting you securely share and download files with reporting support. The Third Party Auditor (TPA) tool also makes sure that files are real and manages user termination to stop people from getting in without permission after a key has been compromised or a characteristic has been changed. A performance study shows that the suggested method works by comparing how much time and memory are used for decrypting both insourced and outsourced files of different sizes. The results show that the system strikes a good balance between security and speed. This means that it can be used in real-life IoT-cloud situations where resources are limited and changing access control is important. The comparison study shows that attribute-based encryption is better at protecting against different types of threats while still having a reasonable amount of extra work to do.

This study paper suggests a way for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud computing to work together that is smart about energy use. The goal is to solve the problem of IoT-Cloud integration's energy efficiency, which is important for making sensor nodes last longer and making sure that data transfer continues over time. The first step in the process is to plan the IoT nodes and give each sensor node a unique ID and a starting energy level. To make data safer, a homomorphic encryption method is used to make public and private keys. The integration process uses a good Cluster Head Selection Technique that has Random, Energy-Based, Distance-Based, and Density-Based methods to make sure that the sensor nodes are grouped together in the best way possible. The sensor nodes send data to the base station through cluster heads, which use homomorphic encryption to make the connection safe. The public key is used to hash each data packet before it is sent to the cluster head. The cluster head then sends the packets to the base station through the Cloud. At the base station, the data hash is checked one at a time, and then the data is decrypted. This makes sure that the data is correct and safe while it is being sent. Comparing time and energy use across different systems and node numbers is part of the performance assessment. The results show that System 4 did better than the others in terms of how much energy it used and how efficiently it transferred data. This shows that the proposed system can effectively handle IoT-Cloud integration. System 4 kept 28,848 units of energy after starting with 29,442 units, showing that it was much more energy efficient. The results show that using techniques that are aware of energy in IoT-Cloud systems can greatly improve performance. This study adds to the growing body of research on integrating IoT and the cloud by showing a safe, effective, and energy-conscious method that sends data while using the least amount of energy possible.

Today we see Smartphone's everywhere which run different kinds of applications. This has made life of the user easier as many things are available with just a click. However many applications are unable to execute efficiently or provide high-end features due to shortage of resources for computation, data storage and battery capacity of the device. We present a framework designed for speeding up the computational tasks which require heavy resources. For this we propose a cloud based virtualised execution environment which can store the data in a secure manner. This framework shall execute Android applications using an Android Emulator. Hence this framework will aid an android developer in using the power of the cloud yet not being required to build web services and manage the cloud.
