In an increasingly interconnected global landscape, transnational staff development has emerged as a crucial strategy for organizations aiming to enhance their competitive edge and adapt to the complexities of the modern workplace. This approach involves the development of employees across national boundaries, often through international assignments, cross-cultural training, and global collaboration initiatives. As businesses expand their operations globally, the need to equip employees with the skills to navigate diverse cultural and operational environments becomes imperative. This introductory exploration seeks to unravel the context and challenges associated with transnational staff development, offering insights into how organizations can effectively manage and leverage their international human resources. The context of transnational staff development is deeply rooted in globalization, which has significantly altered the business environment.
  • Organizational culture and values in employee-owned businesses
    P. Selvakumar, N. Dinesh, Shilpa Gaidhani, Mohit Sharma, Manjunath T. C.
Organizational Models Cultural Dynamics and Csr Applications in Employee Owned Enterprises, 2025
From a financial perspective, employee ownership can offer several advantages. For instance, ESOPs can provide significant tax benefits to the company and its shareholders, including tax deductions on contributions and deferrals of capital gains taxes. Additionally, employee ownership can be a strategic tool for business succession planning, particularly for privately held companies. As owners retire, transitioning to an employee ownership model can ensure that the business remains independent and continues to thrive under the stewardship of its employees. Moreover, the employee ownership model can contribute to broader economic and social benefits. Studies have shown that employee-owned firms often exhibit greater economic resilience, especially during economic downturns. This resilience can be attributed to the employees' vested interest in the company's success, which can lead to more sustainable business practices and a focus on long-term goals rather than short-term gains.
  • Reconstruction and preservation strategies for cultural heritage
Manpreet Kaur, P. Selvakumar, N. Dinesh, Mohit, Pankaj Singh Chandel, T. C. Manjunath
Preserving Cultural Heritage in Post Disaster Urban Renewal, 2025
Cultural heritage reconstruction and preservation encompass a broad range of practices aimed at safeguarding the historical, architectural, and intangible elements of our shared past. This field recognizes the significance of cultural heritage not only as a testament to human creativity and resilience but also as a vital component of identity for communities and nations. As societies evolve, they face numerous challenges, including urbanization, climate change, conflict, and neglect, which threaten to erase invaluable cultural artifacts and sites. Thus, the importance of reconstructing and preserving these elements becomes paramount. The practice of cultural heritage preservation involves meticulous documentation, restoration, and conservation efforts, often relying on interdisciplinary approaches that blend history, archaeology, architecture, and art conservation. Advances in technology, such as 3D scanning and digital modeling, have revolutionized how we approach heritage preservation.
  • Engagement-Retention Nexus: How Recognition and Rewards Sustain Organizational Talent
Dinesh Nilkanta Rao, R. Nandagopal, P. Srinivas Rao
Applied Research for Growth Innovation and Sustainable Impact, 2025
It explores the contribution of recognition and reward towards increasing employee engagement and retention of talent in Indian medium to large-sized service firms. Taking a cross-sectional, quantitative design, data were obtained from 300 respondents using a structured questionnaire measuring perceptions of recognition and rewards (RS) and employee engagement (EE). The instrument had satisfactory internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.797). Statistical tests—correlation, regression, paired t-tests, ANOVA, and estimation of effect size—were performed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The results show a statistically significant, medium-strong positive correlation (r = 0.564, p < 0.001) between RS and EE. Regression analysis validates recognition and rewards as predictors of levels of engagement (R² = 0.318), which demonstrates their strategic importance. Though the t-test results did not provide a statistically significant difference of the mean between RS and EE, practical significance is apparent with the moderate effect size (Cohen’s d ≈ 0.73). The ANOVA results also provide evidence that engagement differentiates significantly across many recognition strategies and thus marks the requirement for tailored reward structures. These results confirm the interaction and supportiveness of engagement and appreciation. Recognition systems need to align with the expectations of employees by organisations to initiate highest motivation, create commitment, and lower attrition. Strategic, tailored recognition practices are needed to drive long-term talent sustainability.
  • Gender Disparities in Creative Thinking
Vinayak Anil Bhat, Surabhi Jha, Dinesh Nilkant Rao
Applied Research for Growth Innovation and Sustainable Impact, 2025
In the realm of creative thinking, gender disparities have long intrigued researchers, with some studies indicating that females exhibit higher levels of creativity compared to males, while others suggest the opposite. Furthermore, there are studies that report no significant differences between genders. This study aims to explore these conflicting findings by investigating gender disparities in creative thinking among postgraduate students, providing fresh insights into this captivating field. This study employed a quantitative research design to identify any gender-related disparities in the creative thinking of students in higher education. A questionnaire was distributed among first-semester MBA postgraduate students at CMS Jain to collect quantitative data for analysis. The method of data collection involved circulating a questionnaire to the respective respondents. Psychometric tools were also utilized to assess the results of creative endeavors, measuring individuals’ abilities, character traits, educational attainment, and knowledge through questionnaires. This approach aimed to gather comprehensive information about people’s attitudes, behaviors, and thought processes. Data analysis was conducted using an independent t-test in Excel, comparing the creative performance behaviors of male and female postgraduate students from CMS Jain. The results indicated that there was no significant difference in the means, suggesting that the t-test could not identify significant gender differences in creative performance behavior. Additionally, psychometric assessments provided further insights into participants’ skills and characteristics.
  • Innovative Fraud Detection in Supply Chain Finance using Graph Attention Networks
    M Suresh, Krishna Koppa, Lakshman K, Sunitha B K, Shilpa Mary T, Dinesh. N
3rd International Conference on Intelligent Data Communication Technologies and Internet of Things Idciot 2025, 2025
Supply Chain Finance (SCF) is essential to streamlining supply chain capital activities and lowering management costs. Big Data, the IoT, AI, and Blockchain have helped SCF make better investment decisions and create personalized risk pricing models. Fast development of these technologies has led to a more nuanced distribution of unique financial fraud patterns among usual patterns and a huge increase of SCF data. Our method involves training, feature extraction, and model preparation. More data preparation was done after bias discovery and feature selection to prepare the data for machine learning models. Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) in feature extraction identified the descriptions' hidden subjects. Our models were trained using HGAT, or Hierarchical Graph Attention Network. Graph Neural Networks (GNN) and traditional HGAT were typically outperformed by the suggested model at 94.34% accuracy. This model can improve supply chain finance decision-making and risk management since our method detects subtle SCF financial fraud tendencies more accurately.
