An Intellectual Methodology for Secure Health Record Mining and Risk Forecasting Using Clustering and Graph-Based Classification D. Shiny Irene, V. Surya, D. Kavitha, R. Shankar, S. John Justin Thangaraj Journal of Circuits Systems and Computers, 2021 The objective of the research work is to analyze and validate health records and securing the personal information of patients is a challenging issue in health records mining. The risk prediction task was formulated with the label Cause of Death (COD) as a multi-class classification issue, which views health-related death as the “biggest risk.” This unlabeled data particularly describes the health conditions of the participants during the health examinations. It can differ tremendously between healthy and highly ill. Besides, the problems of distributed secure data management over privacy-preserving are considered. The proposed health record mining is in the following stages. In the initial stage, effective features such as fisher score, Pearson correlation, and information gain is calculated from the health records of the patient. Then, the average values are calculated for the extracted features. In the second stage, feature selection is performed from the average features by applying the Euclidean distance measure. The chosen features are clustered in the third stage using distance adaptive fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm (DAFCM). In the fourth stage, an entropy-based graph is constructed for the classification of data and it categorizes the patient’s record. At the last stage, for security, privacy preservation is applied to the personal information of the patient. This performance is matched against the existing methods and it gives better performance than the existing ones.
Novel multi-time scale deep learning algorithm for solar irradiance forecasting N. Yogambal Jayalakshmi, R. Shankar, Umashankar Subramaniam, I. Baranilingesan, Alagar Karthick, Balasubramaniam Stalin, Robbi Rahim, Aritra Ghosh Energies, 2021 Solar irradiance forecasting is an inevitable and most significant process in grid-connected photovoltaic systems. Solar power is highly non-linear, and thus to manage the grid operation efficiently, with irradiance forecasting for various timescales, such as an hour ahead, a day ahead, and a week ahead, strategies are developed and analysed in this article. However, the single time scale model can perform better for that specific time scale but cannot be employed for other time scale forecasting. Moreover, the data consideration for single time scale forecasting is limited. In this work, a multi-time scale model for solar irradiance forecasting is proposed based on the multi-task learning algorithm. An effective resource sharing scheme between each task is presented. The proposed multi-task learning algorithm is implemented with a long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network model and the performance is investigated for various time scale forecasting. The hyperparameter estimation of the proposed LSTM model is made by a hybrid chicken swarm optimizer based on combining the best features of both the chicken swarm optimization algorithm (CSO) and grey wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm. The proposed model is validated, comparing existing methodologies for single timescale forecasting, and the proposed strategy demonstrated highly consistent performance for all time scale forecasting with improved metric results.
Preserving Privacy Scheme Using Data-CAAC Mechanism in E-Health Based on Hybrid Edge Computing S Padmapriya, Shankar R, R Thiagarajan, S. Arun, B.S Liya, Gunasundari B Proceedings 2021 3rd International Conference on Advances in Computing Communication Control and Networking Icac3n 2021, 2021 Smart Heath incorporates big data and IOT in recent years. The wearable devices such as gadgets watch are used to assist with the health activity and constant monitoring of the health. By using the integration of using wireless sensor networks, the large amount of data is associated with the patient’s health condition. As the data are stored in the cloud, privacy over preserving the data plays a vital role as the communication channel gets compromised. To increase the secure aspects over the communication range, Data-CAAC mechanism is used. Data-CAAC incorporates with the smart watch to constantly monitor the access over the data mechanism both in space and time context mechanism. LSH is used to enhance the secure mechanism by enclosing the confidentiality data along with it. To encrypt these data, Data-CAAC encryption technique is used to encrypt over the access control where the cuckoo filter carries out the data structure to avoid getting compromised. The automated SVO logic analysis is used to determine the correctness in accuracy where it achieves high efficiency and low computational cost. It attains high reliability with good accuracy performance.
A High Energy Efficient Approach for Handling Dynamic Network Using AOMDV Routing Protocol R Thiagarajan, Gunasundari B, S Padmapriya, B.S Liya, Shankar R, S. Arun Proceedings 2021 3rd International Conference on Advances in Computing Communication Control and Networking Icac3n 2021, 2021 Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET) is one of the key research areas in networks. More interest is created towards this field due to the reason that it is infrastructure less and no central administration is needed. There are so many routing protocols present in MANETS. The transmission of packets from source to destination without any delay, packet loss by maintaining the energy level of the node is the critical issue existing. In this paper the approach for sorting out these issues are found out. Entire research is carried out in two phases. Firstly the comparison of routing protocols is carried out. The comparisons of DSR, DSDV and AODV protocols are done by considering the key parameters. The results are compared and understood that AODV performance results better when compared to other two routing protocols. Further to improve the shortcomings of AODV multipath routing protocol is taken into consideration i.e. AOMDV. Various parameters are compared which results in improvement of performance of the overall network. This protocol uses the messages in between the nodes to maintain the hop information which sometimes results in flooding. To sort out this issue as future enhancement the QoS parameters can be incorporated.
Energy and Economic Analysis of Curved, Straight, and Spiral Flow Flat-Plate Solar Water Collector U. Muthuraman, R. Shankar, Vinay Kumar Nassa, Alagar Karthick, Chandrabhanu Malla, Amit Kumar, P. Manoj Kumar, Robbi Rahim, Murugesan Bharani International Journal of Photoenergy, 2021 In this work, the solar water collector flow tube geometry is modified as curved and spiral to enhance the system’s performance. The investigation is carried out experimentally under the meteorological conditions of the Kovilpatti region (9°10 ′ 0 ″ N, 77°52 ′ 0 ″ E), Tamil Nadu, India. The flow pipes of the solar water heater are made of copper material which has higher thermal conductivity to recover the water heat as thermal energy. The influence of the mass flow rate (MF) on the flow pipes with respect to the surface temperature for various configurations of the flow tubes is investigated. The two MFs of 0.0045 kg/s and 0.006 kg/s are tested. The MF of 0.006 kg/s yields the maximum efficiency of 73% compared to the other MF. The straight, curved, and spiral tubes yielded the maximum efficiency of 58%, 62%, and 69%, respectively, at 0.0045 kg/s. Similarly, the MF of 0.006 kg/s obtained an efficiency of 62%, 65%, and 73% for straight, curved, and spiral flow tubes, respectively. The economics and exergy of the system are analyzed. The maximum exergy efficiency of the collector is estimated to be 32% for the MF of 0.0045 kg/s for the spiral flow collector, and for the 0.006 kg/s MF, the obtained exergy efficiency is 27% for the spiral flow water heater. The economic analysis revealed that the expense is $0.0608 and $0.0512 worth of hot water produced for the domestic space heating.
