An intelligent IoT-based health monitoring system for tribal people N. Geetha, A. Sankar Incorporating the Internet of Things in Healthcare Applications and Wearable Devices, 2019 Healthcare monitoring has grown drastically in the world. People are provided with modern treatments and continuous monitoring of physiological changes in their body. Many technologies are merged into the medial field to bring in this revolution. Many solutions are provided and are commonly used in hospitals and by patients. An IoT-based intelligent healthcare monitoring system provides a continuous health monitoring for tribal people. The system collects data from a patient and loads it into the cloud storage. The doctors have the privilege to view the patients' data and suggest the prescriptions or send an alert message in case of any emergency. A prototype model is developed and tested. This system helps to provide a healthcare solution for tribal community.
Extreme learning machine and K-means clustering for the improvement of link prediction in social networks using analytic hierarchy process Gowri Thangam Jeyaraj, A. Sankar International Journal of Enterprise Network Management, 2019 The rapid growth of the availability of healthcare related data raises a challenge of extracting useful information. Thus there is an urgent need for the healthcare industry to predict the disease, that reduces the amount of cumbersome tests on patients The aim of this paper is to employ a combination of machine learning algorithms namely extreme learning machine algorithm with k-means clustering and analytic hierarchy process, for the prediction of disease in a patient through the extraction of different patterns from the dataset based on the relationships that exists among the attributes. It would help the physician and the medical scientists to predict the possibility of the disease. In today's era, the percentage of females getting affected by diabetes has increased exponentially. So, the experiments are carried over PIMA diabetes data set that focuses on females are extracted from UCI repository and the results are found to be significant.
A Multi Criterion Fuzzy based Energy Efficient Routing Protocol for Ad hoc Networks Geetha N., Sankar A. Intelligent Automation and Soft Computing, 2018 The routing protocol for an ad hoc network should be efficient in utilizing the available resources to prolong the network lifetime. A Multi Criterion Fuzzy based Energy Efficient Routing Protocol (MCFEER) for Ad hoc Networks selects the path on constraints like bandwidth, battery life, hop count and buffer occupancy. In the route discovery phase, fuzzy system is applied for optimal route selection by destination node leading to successful data transmission. Multiple stable paths are preserved in route cache for usage during the route maintenance phase. The results are competitive when compared with Power aware Energy Efficient Routing (PEER) protocol using standard metrics, which ensures better network quality and efficiency.

Removal of mirror bicliques from a symmetric matrix M Dominic Savio, A Sankar, R V. Nataraj ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, 2014 We introduce a novel algorithm to remove all mirror bicliques, i.e. duplicate patterns, while generating all maximal bicliques from a symmetric matrix. Our algorithm MD-Miner+ basically designed by exploiting the symmetric nature of the dataset, that extends DMiner algorithm, where the patterns are generated only once and all the mirror patterns are pruned, whereas DMiner generates all mirror patterns. Our algorithm is compared with DMiner algorithm and observed that ours take only half the running time on sparse datasets and outperform on dense datasets during experiments conducted on benchmark datasets.
