  • Study on Growth of Electric Vehicles in India: A Review
Dhanesh S. Patil, Yogita Patil, Yogesh Kirange, Nilesh S. Mahajan, and Rupesh S. Patil

    IEEE
Air pollution is currently causing severe problems in India. According to a survey, certain cities have high levels of air contamination brought on by the transportation and industrial sectors. In India, the transport industry accounts for almost 18-19% of all energy consumption. Because of the constant exploitation and usage of natural resources, there is a need to protect renewable energy sources and environmentally friendly goods. Out of such a product, the electric vehicle is one such notion that is a successful creation that will displace traditional petroleum-based automobiles. Electric engines are used instead of internal combustion engines, which significantly cuts pollution. This paper provides the study of evolution of electric vehicles in India.

  • Evaluation of Induction Motor Drives Efficiency using ARM-7 based VSI

The industries that are dependent on three-phase power never sustain the single or two phase failure because three-phase power provides greater reliability than that from a single or two-phase power source in today's competitive environment. When any one of the phases in an electrical circuit fails, the equipment it powers is more likely to function improperly, and it could even stop working altogether. There is a discussion in this paper of the development of a ‘Voltage Source Inverter’ for a ‘Three Phase Induction Motor’ that includes a Three Phase Preventer. This inverter has the potential to be applied to a wide variety of industrial applications that demand a continuous three-phase power supply. The goal of this study is to figure out how to build a system that uses a 3 ph. power source to supplement a single-phase one. An Arm-7 controller is programmed for gate pulse of pulse generator, which will allow the desired result to be attained. There is optoisolator and gate driver circuitry attached to this controller, and a MOSFET is used to link it to a power inverter. The foremost goal of this study is to implement a 3 ph. 6 trigger, isolated pulse using an ARM-7 controller. When one of the phases is missing from a three-phase supply in the RYB sequence, this ‘automatic phase selection circuit’ chooses the current phase to consider as a single phase with neutral, protecting a 3 Ph. preventer fortified induction motor from single-phasing damage. The induction motor is powered by 350 volts of three-phase alternating current (AC) that is generated by an inverter circuit. The power circuit transforms 230 V of 1 Ph. AC to DC 350 V. In order to deliver the three-phase variable frequency supply that is essential for adjusting the speed of induction motors in a diversity of manufacturing applications, the circuit has been built.

  • Effectiveness of fuzzy logic controller on performance of unified power flow controller
    Dhanesh S. Patil, V. S. Pawar, and N. S. Mahajan

    IEEE
In this paper a concert of fuzzy logic controller based unified power flow controller and its comparison with control tool based on P at different phase variation is shown on the basis of results using MATLAB, so that effectiveness of fuzzy logic controller based UPFC can be boosted. To governor the real and reactive power flow, and also to improve the system constancy in a transmission line a cutting-edge and flexible scheme of FACTS devices are used in which UPFC is one of them. Controllers which are in the control mechanism have major properties on monitoring power flow and improving the system constancy of UPFC. MATLAB/Simulink results specify that when a three phase fault is applied for 0.2 sec on one of the transmission lines, for controlling real/reactive power flow using different control tools based on P & Fuzzy controllers, fuzzy based control tool shows better concert in power flow controlling. The study can be performed with MATLAB/Simulink.
