Design and development of telugu diphone database D. Nagaraju*, Dr.RJ Ramasree, M.Sri Poojitha, K Nikhitha, M Swetha, et al. International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering, 2019 Diphone database plays a vital role in text to speech system. In this paper, we present the design and development of Telugu diphone database which supports the MBROLA. In the previous article of the same author generation of diphone database for Telugu presents generation of Telugu diphone database [01]. This is the second Telugu diphone database developed by the same author. This database is the upgraded version of first database and few problems are rectified in this version.
Generation of Telugu emotional speech from neutral speech by using voice morphing algorithm D. Nagaraju, Dr. RJ Ramasree, N. Hari, V Pavan Kalyan, Sk Shameer, et al. International Journal of Engineering and Advanced Technology, 2019 Voice morphing is the conversion of one voice signal into another voice signal i.e. source voice signal into target voice signal. Like image morphing, the aim of speech morphing is to preserve the pooled properties of the source signal and target signal during the generation of a smooth conversion between them. The major properties of speech signal are its pitch and envelope information. Pitch, duration and intensity of speech signal parameters are considered to get emotional voice from neutral or emotion. We are using TD-PSOLA technique to extract the prosodic parameters and during the training phase.
