METAGENOMIC ANALYSIS OF RECREATIONAL COASTAL WATERS IN THE BELÉM DO PARÁ REGION
In addition to contamination by waste left by visitors, the beaches in the district of Outeiro and the beaches on the island of Cotijuba, which are close to the northwest region of Belém, suffer from the dumping of untreated sewage from the population that lives in these locations.
