The author has a doctorate in Law (2002) and a master's degree in Procedural Law (1999) from the Postgraduate Program in Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais-PUC Minas. Degree in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998) and in History from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1984). Areas of activity and interest: Constitutional Law and Justice, Administrative Litigation Law, European Union Law and Litigation, International Law of the Sea, Self-Composing Forms of Dispute Resolution and Theory and History of the State and Law.
