Architect and urban planner, master in Critical and Historical Analysis of Urbanism and Architecture / Urban Planning and PhD in Modernity Poetics, currently he is Adjunct Professor - Class 02 at the School of Architecture of the Federal University of Minas Gerais in the Department of Urbanism and permanent member of the Nucleus Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism from the same institution. His field of research is narratives whose object is space and its multiple epistemologies in contemporary times from different disciplinary fields involving from architecture, through anthropology, art, geography, literature and philosophy. He is currently the leader of the research group “Topological Narratives”, coordinates the “Indigenous Narratives” project within the Morista Indígena extension program, develops as a coordinator the research project “Democratic Narratives: Images from the Global South” funded by CNPQ, “Pedagogias City Policies: Art, Urbanism and Democracy ”by FAPEMIG. Teaches Urban Planning regarding issues related to Democracy, Public Policies and Political Ecologies; the relationship between images, territories and their socio-spatial and imaginative practices; the relationship between Space, Culture and Public Policies regarding Indigenous Communities; spatial narratives from a decolonial perspective.
