Dr. Girish Rathod is an accomplished academician and librarian with over 19 years of experience in the field of Library and Information Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Library & Information Science from Kuvempu University and has earned multiple degrees, including M.Phil, M.Sc., MBA (HRM), and M.A. (English).
Currently serving as a College Librarian (Selection Grade) under the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka, Dr. Rathod has played a pivotal role in library automation, digitalization, and academic research. His expertise spans library management, research publications, and organizing academic conferences.
A recipient of prestigious awards such as the "Research Excellence Award" (2016) and "Achievers in Library Profession" (2024), he has significantly contributed to library science through numerous national and international publications. His research interests include digital libraries, artificial intelligence in library services, and information systems.
