T. Gowri Shankar is an accomplished academician with 8 years of teaching experience in higher education and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Commerce at Valluvar College of Science and Management, Karur. He is pursuing a Ph.D. (Part-Time) in Commerce from Bharathiar University and holds an M.Phil., M.Com., and B.Com., with a University 3rd Rank in his postgraduate studies. His academic expertise spans accounting, finance, banking, taxation, management, and entrepreneurship. He has actively contributed to IQAC, NAAC, NBA, OBE implementation, and institutional innovation initiatives, and has served as a resource person in webinars and faculty development programs.
EDUCATION
I am pursuing my Ph.D. (Part-Time) at Kamalam College of Arts & Science, Anthiyur, under Bharathiar University, and it is currently ongoing. I completed my M.Phil. (Part-Time) from Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi, under Bharathiar University in 2020, securing 62.66%. I hold a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree from Sri Vasavi College, Erode, Bharathiar University (2017) with 84.31%, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from the same college in 2015 with 76.78%. My Higher Secondary (HSC) education was completed at Government Higher Secondary School, Ganapathipalayam, Erode, State Board, in 2012 with 92.83%, and I completed my S.S.L.C. from the same school in 2010 with 76.08%.
