My name is Elena Guzik. I was born on November 30, 1969 in the Mogilev region, Republic of Belarus. From 1991 to 2000 I worked as a doctor, and then as the head of the department of hygiene for children and adolescents in the Kirov center of hygiene and epidemiology, and then the Minsk regional center for hygiene, epidemiology and public health. Since 2003 I worked as an assistant and then as an assistant professor of the Department of Hygiene of Children and Adolescents of the Belarusian State Medical University. Since 2006 to 2024, I was elected the Head of the Department of Hygiene and Medical Ecology of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education, I have been the Head of this department. Since july 2024 I work by the Professor of the Department of Hygiene and Children's Health with a course for advanced training and retraining at the Belarusian State Medical University.

EDUCATION

After graduating from secondary school in 1985, I entered the Minsk State Medical Institute (now the Belarusian State Medical University), which I graduated with honors in 1991.
From 2000 to 2003 I studied in graduate school at the Department of Hygiene of Children and Adolescents of the Belarusian State Medical University. In 2004, I defended my PhD in Medicine, specializing in hygiene.
From 2014 to 2019 I doctoral studied at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Hygiene. In 2021, I defended my doctoral dissertation PhD in Medicine, specializing in hygiene.
