Expertise/work experience: Dr. Alba is currently part of the Professor Team in the Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará. Dr. Alba, in their postdoctoral research at Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), also advises undergraduate and graduate students (Master's and PhD students), assisting in the planning and execution of experiments and projects, and in the writing and publishing of scientific papers in national and international journals. Before moving to Brazil and starting his graduate program, Dr. Alba worked as an animal nutritionist with a focus on the production of beef and dairy cattle, buffaloes, fighting cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as evaluation of animal feeding, ruminant nutrition, use of biodiesel by-products in ruminants feeding, and greenhouse gases mitigation.
Dr. Alba was a professor at the UNINASSAU University Center, where he was recognized as the best teacher in 2023.2 and 2024.1 semesters. At this institution, he advises three und
