Mr. Hui Xie was born in Jiangxi in 1995, obtained his Bachelor degree from Hainan Normal University (HNU) in 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Zhigang Niu, then studied in Sun Yat-sen University, with Prof. Dr. Jun Wang to received his Master degree in June 2020. Mr. Xie is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University of Freiburg. His research expertise is in transition-metal-supported and -assisted enantioselective cooperative photoredox catalysis including C-H activation, allylic functionalization and Csp3−Csp2/sp3 coupling, the synthesis of new chiral ligands and organic photoelectric material are not excluded. He has co-authored more than 10 papers in international academic journals including Angew. Chem., ACS Catal., Org. Lett., Chem. -Eur. J, etc.
