International Financial Institutions and Their Role in Promoting the Stability of The Global Financial System Imaduddin MURDIFIN, Hajering HAJERING, Barno RAZAKOVA, Avtandil SILAGADZE, Tamar ATANELISHVILI Theoretical and Practical Research in the Economic Fields, 2024 The study aims to substantiate the role of leading international financial institutions based on the analysis of their activities during the global and regional financial and economic crises. To achieve this goal, the following methods were used: comparison, generalisation, dynamic and structural analysis. The study analyses in detail the activities of international financial institutions, particularly the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group, and other regional financial organisations, aimed at overcoming the consequences of financial and economic crises (the Asian financial crisis of 1997-1998, the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009, and the COVID-19 pandemic crisis of 2020). Based on the analysis, the study summarises the main instruments, methods and approaches used by international financial institutions to promote financial stability. The study established that the main instrument is credit financing. To assess the significance of financial programmes, the amount of financial assistance was compared with the gross domestic product of individual countries that received such funding programmes. The study determined that the directions and conditions of such loan programmes differ depending on the organisation that provides them and the country that receives them. The study found that international financial institutions, particularly the IMF and World Bank Group, played a crucial role in stabilizing the global financial system during crises. The analysis of financial support, GDP growth, and inflation data highlights their impact. These findings are valuable for scholars and government officials in understanding the importance of international coordination in addressing economic crises.
Integrating Social Commerce Constructs into Mobile Application Service; A Structural Equation Model Muhammad Ashoer, Imaduddin Murdifin, Jafar Basalamah, Ajmal As’ad, Andika Pramukti Journal of Physics Conference Series, 2021 The emergence and accelerated rise of digital computing and smartphones have rendered the advent of social commerce (S-commerce). The S-commerce models such as location-based apps, and social media are founded on mobile commerce. According to many professionals and academics, social commerce has a major influence on e-commerce firms and organisations. Although social commerce provides enterprises many benefits, its implementation may entail some potential risks and complex issues, such as the integration of new and existing e-commerce application systems. To confirmed the issues, this study adopted Hajli (2015) social commerce construct (including rating and review, forum and community, recommendation and referral) and tested how it affects consumers’ purchase intention. It also proposed social support construct as moderator to obtain a new findings. In addition, to collect primary data, an online survey method was used and distributed to Shopee customers via electronic questionnaire. PLS-SEM analysis using the SmartPLS 3.0 program tool was implemented to evaluate the measurement and structural models. The result revealed that the social commerce construct (including ratings and reviews, forums and communities, and recommendations and referrals) had different effects on consumer purchase intentions through the Shopee mobile application. Furthermore, the role of social supprt as a moderator was confirmed to be significant. The discussion, implications, and suggestions for future study are discussed further.
Analysis of economic development based on environment resources in the mining sector Munawir NAZIR, Imaduddin MURDIFIN, Aditya Halim Perdana Kusuma PUTRA, Nasir HAMZAH, Moch Zulkifli MURFAT Journal of Asian Finance Economics and Business, 2020 The purpose of this study is to investigate the economic potential of the regions from the mining sector of North Morowali, CentralSulawesi, Indonesia, and the formulation of pro-business regional development management that aims to create synergy between the local government and mining sector entrepreneurs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by taking data in the form of primary data from FGD and secondary data observations from statistical bureau data in the North Morowali, Indonesia. The analysis unit uses SWOT analysis to determine the economic potential of the North Morowali and Location Quotient (LQ) to analyze the economic potential of the mining sector. The research period covers one year (2018-2019) in North Morowali, Indonesia. All the mining products have considerable potential as a financing unit in North Morowali, while mining potential has not been maximally exploited. The absence of regulations, facilities such as road access, and optimal land and sea transportation are the causes of the difficulty of optimization and access to explore mining products comprehensively. As a new province at Central Sulawesi, more efforts and the role of government are needed to focus attention to North Morowali as an area with great potential in the mining sector.
