From September 2006 to December 2007, I worked at the Telecommunications Department of Lviv Polytechnic National University as an engineer and research intern. Since 2008, I have been working as an assistant professor at the department. In 2011, I was selected through a competition for the position of senior lecturer at the department, and from 2014 to 2019, I served as an associate professor at the Telecommunications Department. In 2015, I was awarded the title of associate professor. In 2017, I defended my doctoral dissertation in technical sciences. Since 2015, I have been a member of the specialized academic council D 35.052.10. Since 2019, I have been working as a professor at the Telecommunications Department of Lviv Polytechnic National University. In October 2019, I assumed the position of Vice-Rector for Research at Lviv Polytechnic National University. In 2022, I was awarded the title of professor in the Department of Telecommunications.

There is a reasoned choice of the optimal method for implementation based on the analysis of acoustic signals generated by drones. The set of methods of acoustic signal analysis is presented. These methods provide the measurement of drone coordinates and complement each other depending on the flight conditions. The structure of a distributed sensor network oriented on the online detection of drones and their tracking has been synthesized. The developed system provides the appropriate complexity as well as large flexibility and scalability.
5G multi-tier radio access network planning based on voronoi diagram Jun Su, Mykola Beshley, Krzysztof Przystupa, Orest Kochan, Bohdan Rusyn, Rafał Stanisławski, Oleg Yaremko, Michał Majka, Halyna Beshley, Ivan Demydov, Julia Pyrih, Ihor Kahalo Measurement Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2022 Network planning of multi-layer heterogeneous mobile networks with complex topology is an important task. In this paper the spectral and energy efficiency of integrated LTE/Wi-Fi technologies for 5G are improved. A method of adaptive formation of the structure of radio access level (RAL) with the provision of the required quality of service (QoS) and the possibility of broadband data transmission is proposed. The Voronoi tessellation is used for designing the RAL of 5G mobile networks for the placement of base stations, which allowed optimum delimiting the coverage area for each base station and provide users the cell interface services. To minimize interference there was proposed a method of dynamic frequency reuse for different sizes of Voronoi cells. Modelling shows the developed method is effective both at low and at high network load, however, at high load there is a slightly smaller gain in energy efficiency than at low load.
Modeling the Process of Testing the State of Thermocouple Legs during Operation Orest Kochan, Jiwei Hu, Jun Su, Krzysztof Przystupa, Mykola Beshley, Ivan Demydov, Mariana Levkiv, Ihor Likhnovskyi, Pavlo Hamula Proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Measurement Measurement 2021, 2021 The method of testing virtual sections of inhomogeneous thermocouple legs by changing the temperature field along the legs is considered in this paper. The modeling showed that the error of determination of Seebeck coefficients of the virtual sections strongly depends on the errors of the temperature measurements on the endpoints of virtual sections.
Research on Distributed Machine Learning Methods in Databases Mykhailo Klymash, Marian Kyryk, Ivan Demydov, Olena Hordiichuk-Bublivska, Halyna Kopets, Nazar Pleskanka 2021 IEEE 4th International Conference on Advanced Information and Communication Technologies Aict 2021 Proceedings, 2021 This article discusses the problems of processing large amounts of information in databases to more efficiently execute user queries. The methods of distributed machine learning were described in this research, which allow a faster analysis of large data. A modification of the distributed database system architecture was proposed, which ensures the effective application of machine learning methods. Software modeling of data arrays processing using distributed machine learning has been carried out. The obtained results indicate an increase in the efficiency of processing large amounts of information in databases using distributed machine learning methods.
Radio Resource Management Methods for Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications in 5G LTE Narrowband Industrial Internet of Things Ruoxi Wang, Ivan Demydov, Orest Kochan, Olena Krasko, Mykola Beshley, Orest Lavriv, Halyna Beshley 2021 IEEE 4th International Conference on Advanced Information and Communication Technologies Aict 2021 Proceedings, 2021 We proposed the architecture of the 5G LTE/Narrow Band Industrial Internet of Things (NB-IIoT) network for providing real time IIoT services by allocating the narrow bandwidth spectrum and transferring some functions over the eNodeB base station to the IoT controller. This method takes into account the priority of IIoT traffic and by scheduling resources on the new IoT controller allows to leave the existing eNodeB base stations unchanged. For the first time the method of IIoT traffic prioritization is proposed, on the basis of which the modified algorithms for planning and allocating radio resources in the IoT controller are developed. The method of load balancing for 5G LTE/NB-IIoT networks was developed. The proposed methods take into account the priority of IIoT service and provide Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC) for real time IIoT services in 5G networks.
Methodology and software tool for energy consumption evaluation and optimization in multilayer transport optical networks Krzysztof Przystupa, Mykola Beshley, Mykola Kaidan, Volodymyr Andrushchak, Ivan Demydov, Orest Kochan, Daniel Pieniak Energies, 2020 In communication networks, the volume of traffic, the number of connected devices and users continues to grow. As a result, the energy consumption generated by the communication infrastructure has become an important parameter that needs to be carefully considered and optimized both when designing the network and when operating it in real-time. In this paper, the methodology of calculation of complex parameters of energy consumption for transport telecommunication networks is proposed. Unlike the known techniques, the proposed methodology takes into account heterogeneity and multilayer networks. It also takes into account the energy consumption parameter during the downtime of the network equipment in the process of processing the service data blocks, which is quite an important task for improving the accuracy of energy consumption at the stage of implementing the energy-saving network. We also developed simulation software to estimate and manage the energy consumption of the optical transport network using the LabVIEW environment. This software tool allows telecommunication network designers to evaluate energy consumption, which allows them to choose the optimal solution for the desired projects. The use of electro-and acousto-optical devices for optical transport networks is analyzed. We recommended using electro-optical devices for optical modulators and acousto-optical devices for optical switches. The gain from using this combination of optical devices and the parameter of rij electro-optical coefficient and M2 acousto-optical quality parameter found in the paper is about 36.1% relative to the complex criterion of energy consumption.
A Brief Survey on Architecture of Feedback Systems for Interactive E-Government ICT Platforms Mykhailo Klymash, Ivan Demydov, Leonid Uryvskyi, Yuliia Pyrih Proceedings 15th International Conference on Advanced Trends in Radioelectronics Telecommunications and Computer Engineering Tcset 2020, 2020 This paper examines the architectural features of development an e-content target distribution system for building interactive e-government platforms on feedback systems part based on the most specific and effective web crawler architectures. The main features of implementation of web crawlers are analyzed, as systems of "deep" web searching and basis for cross-monitoring in the state Internet space in the context of software architecture, as well as the difficulties of their integration in the global information and communication space have been given. A prototype web crawler architecture is provided for use as a feedback system in interactive electronic content distribution platforms.
