Nurse and PhD in Social Work (UERJ). Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), acting in undergraduate and graduate programs. Leader of the GEDIM Research Group and coordinator of funded research initiatives, including PPSUS-AL (2025–2027) and CAPES/COFECUB. Scientific output includes >30 peer-reviewed articles, 30 book chapters and 3 edited books. Research focuses on health policy, public health, nursing workforce, NCDs, Institutional Analysis/Socioclinique Institutionnelle, and Continuing Health Education, with emphasis on strengthening Primary Health Care and the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
EDUCATION
Keila is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), Brazil. She develops teaching, research, and extension activities in the fields of Nursing Education, Primary Health Care, Public Health, and Health Work Management. Her academic background and professional experience are oriented toward strengthening health systems, improving care practices, and promoting professional development in nursing.
Her research focuses on institutional analysis in health, workforce challenges in the Unified Health System (SUS), interdisciplinary care, and innovative strategies for teaching and service integration. She has contributed to scientific production through articles, research supervision, and participation in collaborative national and international projects, especially within graduate education in Nursing. She is committed to fostering knowledge translation, advancing evidence-based care, and developing critical approaches to health education with social relevance.
