I am a Veterinary Medicine graduate from the Federal University of Pampa and currently a Master's student in the Fisheries Resources and Aquaculture program at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. I am involved in a research project focused on the use of insects as an alternative feed source for aquatic animals. My research interests include the extraction of chitin and chitosan from insect meal for nutraceutical applications.
