Research Assistant
Autonoma University of Madrid- Biochemistry & Institute for Biomedical Research Alberto Sols

Biologist specialising in Microbiology and Public Health. I have recently finished my academic training and my main objective has been to join a laboratory, in search of a new experience in the field of research as a scientist in order to learn and grow professionally.

After finishing my university studies, I obtained a "Garantía Juvenil" grant from the Community of Madrid and the Ministry of Education to work in the laboratory of Alicia González Martín. Currently, I work in her laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry at Autonoma University of Madrid School of Medicine and Institute for Biomedical Research Alberto Sols (CSIC/UAM). As a research assistant, I am responsible for many basic laboratory tasks, genotyping and organisation of mice colonies, as well as collaboration in the different projects that the laboratory carries out. Our laboratory focuses on studying the role of micro-RNAs in different mechanisms of immune tolerance, autoimmunity and cancer.
