Dr Lokesh Sharma

Dr. Lokesh Sharma is a professor of Journalism and mass communication with 14 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. Currently he is serving Banasthali Vidyapith (A++Graded University) as associate professor and head of the department of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is also looking after the Banasthali Community FM radio station as station manager.

Dr. Sharma started his carrier with E-TV Rajasthan, Jaipur (India) in December 2000 and served the TV channel for about five years then joined the esteemed university (Banasthali Vidyapith) in 2006. His contribution in establishment of community FM radio station and commencement of Journalism & Mass Communication programs at the university are recognized as key achievements of the services at the University.

Community Journalism, Broadcast Journalism and development communication are the major areas of his research interest. His research papers on community journalism have also been published in SCOPUS an
