What are the facts that affect the green investment funds and green entrepreneurship? Mahadi Hasan Miraz Studies in Economics and Finance, 2026 Purpose Green investment funds are still imperative in clarifying the fundamental components of their relationship to sustainability. This study aims to investigate the impact of different factors, such as green product design and innovation, green product entry barriers and green environmental awareness, on the success of green investment funds projects to finance environmentally friendly products. The research also investigates how green investment funds facilitate these factors to encourage environmentally sustainable business. Design/methodology/approach This paper used a questionnaire to collect insights from 210 green entrepreneurs in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. The data were then investigated using statistical tools, such as quantitative analysis of green entrepreneur surveys collected from various industries. The relationship between green product design and innovation, barriers to entry, environmental awareness and green entrepreneurship performance was investigated using partial least squares structural equation modelling, with green investment funds as a mediator. Findings The results indicate that every construct/variable included in the study supported the success of the sustainable business. The observation was made that the development phase tends to diminish the positive relationship between the success of green investment funds and green product codesign strategies. Implementing green product design and innovation improves the success of a green firm. Also, the progress of such companies might be hindered by entry barriers, and corporate performance is improved by environmentalism. This study found the role of green investment funds in promoting product innovation and positive environmental outcomes while reducing barriers to entry. Significance of the study Given these results, this work provides a theoretical explanation. Also, it gives doable recommendations for more successful green investment funds of environmentally friendly goods. The analysis emphasises the need for green product innovation and investment funds to mitigate entry obstacles. Corporate entities, investors and lawmakers receive pragmatic guidance on sustainable business practices. Originality/value This research, unique because of its multidisciplinary methodology and theoretical advances, examines the relationship between business, finance and sustainability. It provides valuable insights for academics, professionals and decision-makers, enhancing the understanding of green investment and entrepreneurship and offering practical global sustainable economic growth strategies. This paper investigates the impact of green investment funds on product innovation, entry obstacles, environmental consciousness and the success of green entrepreneurs. To the best of the author’s knowledge, this study is one of the limited numbers that models these features, enhancing the precision of green project success information.
Chapter 9: Equity and Inclusion in ASEAN Tourism Samuel Adeyinka-Ojo, Blessing Adeyinka-Ojo, Malini Sathappan, Mahadi Hasan Miraz, John Teo Bridging Tourism Theory and Practice, 2026 This chapter explores the importance of developing a sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) framework in the digital workplace of the hospitality and tourism industry (HTI) in the ASEAN context. This study provides a systematic literature review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach. Findings indicate several experiences among the employees in the digital workplace with regard to DEI and identify organizational strategies to overcome the challenges.
Advancing mixed-methods research through PLS-SEM and NVivo: a methodological integration in AI literacy studies Mahadi Hasan Miraz, Rohana Sham, Sanmugam Annamalah Quality and Quantity, 2026 This study examines Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) and NVivo as tools for analysing non-normal data and small samples. PLS-SEM is a robust tool for analysing small samples and offering predictive modelling advantages, while NVivo is a leading qualitative data analysis (QDA) tool. The study uses mixed-methods research, using empirical data to assess PLS-SEM’s performance and surveys, interviews, usability testing, and case studies to evaluate NVivo’s capabilities. PLS-SEM can model latent concepts like customer engagement and efficacy, while NVivo can analyse qualitative data like interview transcripts, reflective diaries, and business discourse. NVivo outperforms competing QDA tools in advanced coding, data visualisation, and integration features, with 72% of surveyed researchers preferring it for its effectiveness and usability. Usability testing revealed NVivo had a 30% higher task efficiency and a high user satisfaction score (8.5/10), despite a moderate learning curve. PLS-SEM is a robust and adaptable statistical method for complex quantitative research, especially when data quality or sample size is constrained; as this research is based on 350 samples from AI literacy in university students. NVivo is a versatile and user-friendly QDA tool, enhancing the rigour and efficiency of qualitative analysis. Together, these tools offer a methodological advancement for researchers undertaking mixed-methods studies, promoting more accurate, predictive, and interpretable research outcomes across disciplines.

This study looks into the pros and cons of ChatGPT from the perspectives of both students and teachers in the field of business mathematics education. The effectiveness of ChatGPT in increasing students' business mathematical skills is also examined here. In conclusion, this research assesses how effective the ChatGPT app is for teaching business mathematics. This research provides an in-depth review of ChatGPT and short quantitative findings from a survey, highlighting the effectiveness of the ChatGPT in improving business mathematics education. These ChatGPT prospects for students and educators include personalized feedback, enhanced accessibility, interactive dialogs, lesson planning, assessment, and novel pedagogical approaches to teaching intricate ideas. Also, this study findings provide insights for academic administrators to ensure that student work is unique. This study enables academics and instructors to understand how to evaluate student assignments and projects. Finally, it will increase the ChatGPT literacy of academics and policymakers. The findings revealed the interaction between ChatGPT and learner behavior in the education sector. This study provides solid ground for the use of ChatGPT in management education. To the author's knowledge, this is one of the unique studies related to the ChatGPT effect in business mathematics education.
Sustainable supply chain visibility management on the ground of blockchain awareness: A systematic literature review Mahadi Hasan Miraz, Abba Ya'u, Hwang Ha Jin, Osaro Aigbogun, James Bakul Sarkar, Mohammad Tariq Hasan, Abul Kalam Multidisciplinary Reviews, 2025 This study investigates long-term supply chain visibility in light of blockchain awareness. By examining the visibility of a sustainable supply chain, researchers have attempted to gain a deeper understanding of blockchain awareness. Additionally, it describes long-term supply chain information exchange for various levels of visibility on numerous grounds in a safe, traceable, and advantageous manner. It also recognizes the underlying qualities of long-term supply chain visibility. The researchers conducted a systematic literature review (SLR) utilizing the PRISMA technique. Using the Web of Science, PubMed, SCIENCE DIRECT, ERIC, and SCOPUS databases, a five-year literature search resulted in 240 articles whose abstracts and content were fully examined, which is known as the eligibility process. Two hundred sixteen articles did not meet the requirement of answering this article’s research question; ultimately, 24 articles met the inclusion and theoretical requirements. After that, the figure and table approach is used to quantify supply chain visibility management, and the proposed index is assessed, for example, supply networks in blockchain awareness. The introduction of sustainable supply chain visibility management (SSCVM) architecture provides a full overview of the management and blockchain-based sustainable supply chain visibility literature. This review further articulates the theoretical underpinnings of multiple studies published in esteemed academic publications over the preceding five years and several reports from the literature. This study sheds new light on facilitating decisions and actions in all blockchain-based supply chain management in the business, engineering, and education sectors. Finally, it draws attention to potential difficulties linked to blockchain technology, such as adoption incentives, deployment and implementation issues, and governmental rules and regulations. This study aims to comprehensively examine the evolution of blockchain visibility research in supply chain management by employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR).
Toward a Circular Path: Integrating Knowledge, Open Innovation, Green HRM, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Orientation in Chinese Fashion Industry Muhammad Sadiq, FengSheng Chien, Mei Kei Leong, Subir Verma, Mahadi Hasan Miraz Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, 2025 The present study examines the nexus between sustainable digital entrepreneurship, open innovation, green human resource, and circular economy in the context of the Chinese fashion sector. Since fashion brands delve into the adoption of digital technologies, the opportunity to harness such innovation has become more pronounced in order to achieve sustainability. Circular economy, in recent years, has garnered the attention of scholars as they view the concept as a strategic mechanism which helps in achieving sustainable goals through cleaner production. Thus, the research assumes that digital entrepreneurship under the disguise of sustainable principles nurtures open innovation and green HRM practices, shaping circular economic goals. The study also scrutinizes the mediating role of knowledge sharing and digital orientations as they are proven critical enablers of sustainable principles. The researcher has gathered data from the full‐time employees in the HRM department of fashion companies in China; these employees included departmental heads, line managers, managers, and employees having good knowledge regarding the observed variables of the study. By employing PLS‐SEM, the findings of the study reveal that there is a significant positive association of circular economy with the firm's open innovation and green HRM practices, while it is not related to sustainable digital entrepreneurship. In light of the findings, the study offers a significant contribution by introducing a comprehensive model that fosters sustainability initiatives. However, the study is limited to the Chinese fashion industry, so its findings cannot be generalized. Therefore, future researchers are recommended to study some other industries as well.
Customer Satisfaction in Online Sales: A Cross-Regional Study of Influential Factors in Asia, Middle East, and Europe Mahadi Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Nazmuzzaman Hye, Rohana Sham, Ali Mohsin Salim Baawain Malaysian Journal of Consumer and Family Economics, 2025 This study investigates several elements (e-commerce, in-store pickup, instore return, physical experience) influencing customer satisfaction ratings with online sales in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. All data were meticulously gathered from 390 regular online buyers using a quantitative method. Platforms like email, WhatsApp, and other social media channels helped with three areas of behaviour: communication and data collecting. This study used a self-administered questionnaire created and sent using Google Docs to guarantee general access and simplicity of response gathering. The study’s primary aim is to examine the impact of numerous factors on customer satisfaction—including online sales experience, in-store pickup alternatives, customer complaint management, operational efficiency and upsell possibilities. Remarkably, actual sales volume and client demographics have not affected general customer satisfaction levels. The findings show strong relationships among customer happiness, effective complaint handling, simplified procedures, a flawless online purchasing experience, handy in-store pickup services, and quick refund policies. These realisations underline the need for operational effectiveness and customeroriented approaches in raising the general satisfaction of online users. This study has broad ramifications for government, business, and institutional organisations around Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, offering strategic ideas for raising consumer satisfaction in online retail.

This study aims to ascertain the significance of understanding the evolving critical factors that boost tourists' intention to travel. Notably, it explores factors influencing changing tourist intentions to visit Asian countries. These factors are the digital literacy of macro business owners, marketing ability, niche signature product and facility of tourist healthcare.Design/methodology/approachThe study was conducted using a quantitative research approach. The researcher gathered data from selected Asian countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, India, Singapore and Brunei. The researcher constructed the self-administered questionnaires using Google Docs, WhatsApp and email to collect the data. Statistical tools structural equation modelling and partial least squares (SEM-PLS) were utilised to analyse the data and understand its reliability and validity.FindingsThe intention to engage in tourist travel is a highly influential indicator and predictor of prospective visitors. The examination of the social role of tourists reveals that the conduct exhibited by tourists can serve as a potential indicator of the conduct displayed by other individuals. Tourists play a significant role in shaping the digital literacy of macro-business owners and the quality of healthcare facilities available to tourists in the tourism industry. Small business owners also pursue these aims through various marketing strategies and distinctive products or services, including catering to the needs of tourists and attracting potential customers who have not yet experienced travel. Tourist travel pertains to tourist behaviour in acquiring and relinquishing tourism services.Research limitations/implicationsIt focuses on infrastructural development, cultural offerings and sustainability practices to enhance the attractiveness of Asian countries. Policymakers should consider changes to tourism policies, such as visa restrictions and safety protocols, to align with evolving travel goals. The study can improve the overall tourist experience in Asian countries by investing in cultural events and digital technologies. It can also help in crisis management strategies and recovery processes. Stakeholders should formulate policies and regulations that maximise economic benefits while promoting environmental practices. The goal is to enhance visitor influx and market unique attractions, advance sustainable tourism principles and contribute to academic literature. The study’s outcomes will have practical applications, helpful advice, benefits for the tourism industry and stakeholder engagement.Originality/valueThis study emphasises the significance of understanding tourists' travel intentions while choosing their location. Hence, this study is deemed valuable for future research endeavours, particularly in elucidating the purposes and roles of tourists' behaviour that contribute to identifying factors influencing destination selection.
