Professor and researcher in Transport Engineering at COPPE, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. His work focuses on transport planning, urban mobility, sustainability, and resilience, with particular emphasis on accessibility, equity, and the environmental assessment of transport infrastructure. He has extensive experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to transport systems and in the development of methodologies for evaluating the impacts of mobility policies and infrastructure projects.
He is actively involved in research projects funded by national agencies such as CNPq, CAPES, and FAPERJ, and collaborates with public institutions and industry partners in studies related to transport systems planning, infrastructure evaluation, and sustainable mobility. He also contributes to graduate education through teaching and supervision of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in Transport Engineering.
