Marco Mele is an Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the Niccolò Cusano University of Rome, qualified as Full Professor for SSD 13 A2. On January 1, 2023, Marco Mele was appointed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance as Sole Director (CEO) of Servizi Fondo Bombole Metano (SFBM) SPA (GSE Group).
The Professor is also an Editorial Board Member of several international scientific journals in Economics, Energy and Environment and author of more than 70 publications and studies of an international nature (I.F. Scopus 21) in the fields of Economics, Energy, Environment, Transportation, and ICT, most of which represent the result of econometric and statistical models and lately, of experiments in Machine Learning.
He has received awards and recognition for his scientific activity, organized and participated in numerous international conferences.
