Mariana Santana de Lima

Currently, she is a fifth-year medical student at the Dr. Paulo Prata School of Health Sciences in Barretos (FACISB), Brazil. She is involved in a wide range of academic and professional activities that demonstrate her commitment to the healthcare field and her engagement in relevant social causes. She has completed internships in various healthcare units, including the specialized Pediatric ICU for Bone Marrow Transplants at the renowned Hospital do Amor in Barretos. She also interned in the Neonatal ICU at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Barretos and the Adult ICU at the Emergency Unit of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine at USP in Ribeirão Preto.

Additionally, she has actively participated in various extracurricular activities, such as the social organization Doutores da Amazônia (DRA), where she worked with indigenous peoples in Alto Xingu.
