Agronomy Engineering from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1995), master degree (1999) and a PhD (2004) in Plant Production from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro. Currently is a professor at the Fluminense Federal Institute and works at technical, engineering and Masters programs of Systems Applied to Engineering and Management. Has experience on Multi-criteria Decision Aid and Environmental Management. Experience in Entomology using leaf cutting ants as model.
