Martha Sahylí Ortega Pijeira holds a B.Sc. in Radiochemistry (2012) and a MSc. in Radiochemistry (2015) from the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences (InSTEC, Cuba), and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Technology from the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN/CNEN-SP) and the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2019). She was a Visiting International Research Student (VIRS) at the University of British Columbia, Canada (2016-2017). She completed a post-doc in Radiopharmacy at IPEN/CNEN-SP (2021). Her working experience comprises the fields of radiochemistry, radiopharmacy, organic chemistry, nanomedicine, and applications of radiotracers in industry and the environment. She is currently doing a post-doc at the Laboratory of Nanoradiopharmacy and Synthesis of Novel Radiopharmaceuticals from the Nuclear Engineering Institute (IEN/CNEN-RJ), Brazil.
