A Comprehensive Framework for Nutrition Analysis and Ingredient Substitution using Machine Learning Hemalatha M, Muthupandi G, Pavithra S 2025 International Conference on Data Science Agents and Artificial Intelligence Icdsaai 2025, 2025 Nutrition is a core concern for public health, since it is the basic tool to prevent diseases and ensure well-being in general. However, classical methods of nutritional evaluation and selection of substitute ingredients often fail and do not support personalized nutrition plans. This paper addresses this problem by developing a framework based on machine learning techniques. It uses synthetic data and CNNs to analyze the nutritional content and recommend alternative ingredients that are healthier. The major challenge here is to ensure that the replacements maintain nutritional equivalence without sacrificing functionality or flavor. The focus of this research is to develop an automated system that determines the nutritional content of food items and provides intelligent substitution according to dietary goals such as reducing fat or increasing protein content. The methodology involved preprocessing of a synthetic dataset of food items and training of a CNN model on the task of nutritional classification with implementation of a rule-based substitution mechanism to propose substitutes. Expected outcomes include high accuracy of nutritional predictions along with meaningful substitutions that can enhance the quality of dietary. It has been found that there is an accuracy of 90.00%, balanced precision, recall, and F1 scores. Future extensions will include the following: more real-world dataset integration, reinforcement learning for substitution, and scalable deployment.
Technology and Community Interventions for food Security and Waste Reduction Arunkumar K, Muthupandi G, S. Pavithra 2025 International Conference on Data Science Agents and Artificial Intelligence Icdsaai 2025, 2025 Food waste and insecurity using a multifaceted approach that includes nutrition-focused interventions in supportive housing, culturally appropriate food programs for Indigenous communities, and mobile applications to cut down on food waste. Geographical barriers, cultural significance, and logistical inefficiency are among the major barriers. This study assesses the impacts of digital food-waste apps, targeted nutritional interventions, and Indigenous food sovereignty initiatives using a mixed-methods approach. The integration of community-based and technology-driven solutions is unprecedented. The results highlight the worth of cooperative, sustainable approaches toward improving community well-being, environmental resilience, and food access.
A Review of Generative AI in Recommendation Systems Shivaani V P, Muthupandi G, S. Pavithra 2025 International Conference on Data Science Agents and Artificial Intelligence Icdsaai 2025, 2025 Traditional machine learning algorithms have paved the way for more sophisticated models mainly in the field of Gen AI. This review compares how Gen AI is used in recommendation systems to traditional AI methods and the application of both in various fields. Generative AI has transformed the systems for recommendation by correcting the flaws of conventional machine learning approaches. This review compares the use of Gen AI and conventional AI in RS throughout various fields, with a focus on GANs and VAEs. These generative models indicate their capabilities and challenges involving low data, cold start, and lack of diversity in recommendations. They also show potential limitations for further research. The report outlines recent works to represent how Gen AI enhances RS performance traces key trends, and addresses relevant emerging concerns with reliability and ethics. The results highlight hybrid approaches, promising further developments of the effective and flexible RSs. To conclude, the paper advocates for further research to be performed.
A Web-Based System for QR Code Flag Identification and DecodingWith Python and Flask Semmathi G S, Dhinakaran Krishnan, G Muthupandi 2025 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics Esci 2025, 2025 The flag-identifying tool based on QR codes here is fresh and made exclusively for a Kali Linux environment, developed in Flask for the Web. Most of them are the traditional or default QR code scanners, it's a complete zbarimg-tool, which is available as a native tool in many Linux Flavors, so it is most compatible and performs better in a Kali setup as compared to its counterparts. The tool simply does QR code reading from a very particular local machine folder along a very organized, systematic approach in handling images. Users will upload images containing QR codes over a web interface, while app.py works to process the images, decode the data, and ultimately reveal Capture The Flag (CTF) lying within the images. Indeed, only the relevant flags would return, thus saving on the user time during a CTF or cybersecurity training session. Taking advantage of native command-line utilities makes the project an offering that is indeed innovative and a first in the field of QR-code flag output extraction. This organized structure affords the tool orderly file storage and processing, a strong and scalable solution to a lover of cybersecurity and a professional. Well, this QR flag decoder is up and coming, as it emphasizes simplicity, accuracy, and using Linux-native utilities-a really big leap forward in automated QR decoding for CTF challenges and beyond.
The Impact of Immersive Virtual and Augmented Reality on Medical Field: A Review of Cognitive Load, Learning Efficiency, and Practical Applications Nirmal Kumar P, Muthupandi G, S Pavithra 2025 International Conference on Data Science Agents and Artificial Intelligence Icdsaai 2025, 2025 This paper describes how AR is transformed into healthcare, particularly when viewed from the perspective of medical imaging, surgical precision, and education, and examines how this integration is done, demonstrating its potential for enhancing clinical practice, engagement of patients, and customized interventions. Thus, AR combined with VR, AI, and robotics will open a new door for healthcare delivery, educational, and training revolutions. The main drawbacks include regulatory challenges, high costs, and clinical validation. This needs further research on this area to move forward. Cognitive load measuring using AR is another important aspect of user experience which removes the traditional method on performance tests or subjective ratings. The use of non-invasive sensors has been combined with physiological measures in recent times. An example is eye-tracking, which will provide us with real-time data of cognitive load; but it is still uneven, and we require a multi-method approach to overcome this. AR and immersive VR are together known as XR technologies. XR is used in medical education, and it is absorbed that it increases knowledge gain much higher in comparison to traditional learning resources in anatomy learning. A Cross-study analysis on students showed that 80% of participants reporting a positive learning experience on XR. Collectively we need intensive research to maximize its impact and address regulatory, developmental, and cognitive considerations.
