Neha Yadav, an Assistant Professor at G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, India, is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT). She earned her M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, and her B.Tech in Computer Science from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. Proficient in machine learning, python, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graph-based systems, and artificial intelligence. Her research focuses on knowledge graphs and large language models.

This chapter outlines how systems and architecture design and the coordination of AI-generated code are developing into critical competencies for software developers in an era of AI-aided development. This chapter further describes how oversight, verification and evaluation will become increasingly important as engineers begin to assume the role of “quality gatekeepers,” ensuring the accuracy, safety, trustworthiness and sustainability of computer systems. By examining the capabilities that are expected to increase in importance as the automation of computer systems continues to expand, this chapter presents a plan for the reskilling of engineers, development teams and academic programs within a strategic context.

This chapter starts with examining the role of AI in enhancing creative writing and generation of code through intelligent assistants and chatbots. After the explanation, it explores how Generative AI is transforming social media landscape with conglomerate capabilities and automated content creation. Personalized learning materials and automated assessments in the educational sectors of AI adoption are also discussed. This chapter further delves deeper into the critical applications of Generative AI in assessment of environmental impact, with a focus on renewable energy planning and climate change scenario. The role of detecting and potentially generating fraudulent information in AI is examined by highlighting the safeguards and ethical challenges. Throughout the chapter, the transformational potential of AI based on text is balanced against potential societal impacts and ethical considerations.     In the rapidly evolving digital media landscape, watermarking technology has become a crucial component of comprehensive content protection strategies. Despite its potential, the security of watermarking systems remains a primary concern, primarily due to the increasing sophistication of attack methods designed to damage, erase, or manipulate a watermark detector. This chapter explores the security challenges associated with watermarking and the countermeasures available. For each potential attack, it discusses the impact, detection difficulty, and possible damage. Additionally, the chapter outlines defensive architectures and algorithms, including robust embedding techniques, adversarial training in watermarking systems, tampering localisation, and cryptographic reinforcement. It is illustrated with case studies, simulation research and results, diagrams, and a benchmarking framework to help readers understand how to design, evaluate, and secure watermarking against modern threats.

    Digital watermarking is a crucial method for addressing the threats of data piracy and illegal content distribution in cloud environments and copyright protection systems. This chapter looks at Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methods of adaptive watermarking, and we will pay close attention to how intelligent systems can make such watermarking solutions more robust, imperceptible, and payload-dense. In addition, this chapter will review the various neural network architectures, deep learning frameworks, reinforcement learning approaches, and hybrid AI system structures that can be utilised in watermarking applications, particularly in cloud computing settings. We will conduct a review of current state-of-the-art AI/ML methods and models for embedding and detecting watermarks. This review will provide a taxonomy of methods, compare these methods, and present case studies and experimental setups.
