Electrochemical modeling of steady-state diffusion-reaction processes with second-order irreversible kinetics S. Pandi Selvi, O. Nethaji, S. Vinolyn Sylvia, L. Rajendran International Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2025 This work presents a mathematical model for steady-state mass transport in electrochemical systems involving isotropic diffusion and a second-order irreversible reaction within a porous particle of any geometry. The nonlinear governing equation reflects the interplay between diffusion and nonlinear kinetics, relevant to electrochemical reactors, porous electrodes, and biosensors. Two semi-analytical methods the Rajendran-Joy method (RJM) and Akbari-Ganji method (AGM) are employed to obtain approximate solutions, with trial functions optimized using electrochemical boundary conditions. Numerical simulations confirm the accuracy of the solutions. A parametric study explores the effects of reaction rates, isotropic diffusion, and geometry on concentration profiles, while sensitivity analysis identifies key parameters influencing transport-reaction behaviour. A simple and novel expression for the effectiveness factor, quantifying the interplay between reaction kinetics and mass transport within porous electrodes, is also presented. The results underscore the applicability of mathematical modeling in optimizing electrochemical system performance and advancing the understanding of nonlinear transport phenomena.
BINARY TOPOLOGY BASED ON SOME NEW SETS M. Vinoth International Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2025 In this chapter, we introduce and some new sets called binary -open sets, binary -sets, binary -sets, binary -closed sets, binary -sets and binary -sets , which are simple forms of binary open sets in binary topological spaces. Also we characterize these sets and study their related properties with binary open sets. The independence of such as binary pre open sets and binary -closed sets, binary -closed sets and binary -closed sets, binary -open sets and binary -sets are established. Also decomposition of binary -open subset into a binary -open subset and binary pre open sets is arrived. Finally, the notion of a binary kernel is introduced, and its properties are investigated.
NANO JD*-HOMEOMORPHISMS O. Nethaji, G. Selvi, S. Jackson, V. Thangamayan South East Asian Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2023 We discussed nano JD*-Homeomorphisms in nano topological spaces inthis study. We address the fundamental characteristics and noteworthy characterizationsof nano JD*-Homeomorphisms in nano topological spaces. Our analysisdemonstrates how they relate to other ideas already known, such as nano semihomeomorphisms, nano pre-homeomorphisms, and nano g-homeomorphisms.
Decompositions of πg-continuity via ideal nano topological spaces O. Nethaji, R. Asokan, I. Rajasekara Advances in Mathematics Scientific Journal, 2020 In this paper, we introduce and discuss some notions of Inπg-closed sets, Inπg-continuity in ideal nano spaces.
