In this article, a bio‐inspired AlexNet‐DrpXLm architype is proposed for an effective brain stroke lesion detection and classification within a short period. Here, the input CT image datasets are collected from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, then the images are preprocessed to take away the noises and also enhance the quality of the images. After that, the input images are trained and the features are extracted with the help of AlexNet model, and then classified as the brain images of normal and abnormal. The last three layers of the AlexNet model are replaced with the dropout extreme learning machine (DrpXLM) classifier to classify the images in efficient manner. The DrpXLM weight parameters are tuned by improved dolphin swarm optimization algorithm. The proposed method attains higher accuracy 99.54%, high precision 90.43%, high F‐score 89.40%, higher specificity 93.56%, higher sensitivity 93.56%, lower computational time 0.02 s, and the proposed method is compared to the existing methods, like random decision forest with gravitational search algorithm, hybrid native Bayes and sample weighted with random forest classification algorithm, and random forest with fractional‐order Darwinian particle swarm optimization.
  • Dual-band Micro-Strip Antenna using Split Ring Resonators for ISM Bands

Proceedings International Conference on Augmented Intelligence and Sustainable Systems Icaiss 2022, 2022
The new generation of communication devices integrated more than one standard into a single system. When the frequency band of the antenna increases, it leads to an increase in antenna complexity. The primary purpose of this dual-band antenna is to achieve a smaller size, enhanced bandwidth and good gain. Initially, the general design equations and parameters are used to design the conventional patch antenna for 2.4 GHz; further, simple modifications (i.e. using slots and split rings) are included in the patch as well as ground to operate the antenna in dual-band mode. ANSYS High-Frequency Structure Simulator software (HFSS) is used to design and assess the proposed antenna for performance evaluation. The Return Loss of the suggested pattern at 2.45 GHz is −22.0729 dB and at 5.8 GHz is −27.4999 dB, whereas VSWR values are 1.17 and 1.08. The maximum gain at the 5.8 GHz band and 2.45 GHz band is found to be 6.511 dB and 3.219 dB, which is good for superior WLAN coverage and other IS M band applications.
  • Performance Measures of Spatially Multiplexed MIMO-OFDM System using Different Modulation Techniques

Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems employ more than one antenna at each of the two ends of the communication link and may transport at least two data streams over a single channel without requiring additional transmission capacity or power. In order to construct a stable communication stream, the receiving side should often have more antennas than the broadcasting side. Because of their better presentation abilities, MIMO frameworks have quickly gained popularity over the last decade. However, multi-stream interference and inter-symbol interference are encountered in spatially multiplexed MIMO systems as a result of the remote channel’s time-dispersive characteristics. To provide dependable and reliable communication, the influence of interference must be appropriately limited at the recipient. In order to counteract interference in spatially multiplexed wireless channels, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is usually used. The study found that combining MIMO and OFDM delivers higher productivity, unwavering quality, gain, and information rate, and that it is an appealing air-interface suggestion for next-generation WLAN and WMANs. As a result, a spatially multiplexed MIMO-OFDM system was developed in this study, and performance measures such as bit error rate and bit energy to noise ratio were investigated using various modulation methods. At the receiver, the proposed method uses a zero forcing equalizer to spatially de-multiplex the data.

Background/Objective: The demand for the data traffic is exponentially increasing day to day because of the proliferation of smart phones, tablets and internet-connected devices. To meet this requirements network operators has to dramatically increase their network capacities. Methods: One of the possible ways to increase the system capacity is bringing the transmitter and receiver nearer to each other. It gives dual benefits higher quality and spectrum efficiency. Findings: The cost effective solution is installing the low power nodes instead of traditional high power macro base stations. Examples of these low power nodes are microcells, picocells, femtocells and distributed antenna systems. The network, which consists of different power nodes, architectures, and protocols is called Heterogeneous network. To overcome the indoor coverage and increased system capacity femtocells also called low power base stations are selected by the researchers as the suitable solution. In this paper we overview the femtocell deployment scenarios, access modes, and technical challenges briefly. Improvements: This paper gives the details about solutions available in the literature and gives future research directions to solve the technical challenges faced by femtocells.
