Design of Sustainable Automated Milking and Milk Quality Testing Machine Tharun R, Pavithra G S, V Sreekanth, N Shyam Sundar, Harshitha T G 2024 5th International Conference for Emerging Technology Incet 2024, 2024 Technological developments in milking machines have drastically changed the industry of dairy products by increasing both productivity and effectiveness. To address the fuel issue and the current problem of milk machines being too expensive for farmers to buy manually operated pumps, less expensive than the milk machines that are used currently, were developed. In order to reduce the manpower needed to operate and to reduce the effort of humans to pump milk, artificial hands are being employed to pump milk. The primary focus of the system is the machine's operation, which needs on electricity to function. Since there won't always be an electrical supply in communities, we've integrated solar and battery power as a backup. The quality of milk was analyzed and different milk quality parameters were tabulated using random forest algorithm. The testing was carried out for 100ml milk samples. Additionally, it has the ability to sense the flow of milk and control the speed at which cows are milked.
Enhanced Optical Management in Organic Solar Cells by Virtue of Square-Lattice Triple Core-Shell Nanostructures Pavithra Gattu Subramanyam, Narayan Krishnaswamy, Koushik Guha, Jacopo Iannacci, Eze Nicholas Ude, Venkatesha Muniswamy Micromachines, 2023 This research focuses on enhancing the optical efficacy of organic photovoltaic cells, specifically their optical absorbance and electrical parameters. The absorbance of photons in organic solar cells (OSCs) was studied by incorporating an optical space layer and triple core-shell square-lattice nanostructures. For better chemical and thermal stability, a dielectric-metal-dielectric nanoparticle can be replaced for embedded metallic nanoparticles in the absorption layer. The 3D (finite-difference time-domain) FDTD method was used to analyze the absorption and field distribution in OSCs using 3D model morphology. Firstly, an optimization of thickness of the optical spacer layer was analyzed and secondly, the impact of adding triple core-shell nanostructures at different levels of an OSC were studied. The photovoltaic properties such as short circuit current density, power conversion efficiency, fill factor, Voc were investigated. The proposed design has demonstrated an improvement of up to 80% in the absorption of light radiation in the photoactive region (donor or acceptor) of OSCs in the wavelength range of 400 nm to 900 nm when compared with that of nanostructures proposed at various layers of OSC.
Implementing a Robust Iris Recognition System using Feedforward Neural Network Techniques Pavithra G S, Chinna N J, P S Srivatsa, Harshitha H N, Sandhyashree R Vitecon 2023 2nd IEEE International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies Proceedings, 2023 Iris recognition is a technique that analyses an individual's iris image to use an artificial neural network (ANN) based feedforward neural network (FNN). The FNN contains several layers of neurons that help it analyze input data and extract important information. Techniques including image preparation, feature extraction, and classification are used to increase accuracy, With accuracy rates of over 99.98%, FNN-based iris recognition has produced impressive results. Receiver Operating Characteristic curve, a true-positive rate, False Positive Rate, as well as other performance indicators are used to measure the system's accuracy. However, challenges such as motion blur and noisy images might have a significant impact on the way the FNN-based iris identification system performs Such challenges are now being addressed in existing research in an effort to increase the efficiency and dependability of FNN-based iris recognition systems for a wide range of applications, such as immigration control, remote access, and banking transactions.
Design of Microcontroller based Smart Car Parking System M Deepak, Namitha Kolur, G S Pavithra, U Deeksha, M B Chethan 2021 6th International Conference on Recent Trends on Electronics Information Communication and Technology Rteict 2021, 2021 With the increase in the population in metropolitan cities, vehicle density is also increasing. Due to this, vehicle parking has become a common issue in metro cities. This leads to wastage of time in search for parking. Moreover, large energy consumption, long processing time and also environmental pollution are highly concerned issues. Few introduced systems may lack the ability to detect the empty spots for parking. Many concepts and systems are introduced on IoT and cloud-based technology which is an expensive method for data transmission and are mostly dependable on factors such as climatic conditions and network availability. It requires high investment due to involvement of high-end technologies, which may not justify for small scale implementation. To overcome this issue a novel configuration is introduced which is cost effective, user friendly, less human dependent system which has access to real time data.
Modeling and analysis of grating structure for enhancing the absorbance in organic solar cell G S Pavithra, M Venkatesha, B M Chaya, K Narayan 2021 2nd International Conference for Emerging Technology Incet 2021, 2021 In this work the characteristics of organic solar cell (OSC) containing double grating structures has been studied. The active organic material used in OSC is PH3T:PCBM. The numerical analysis method Finite-Difference Time Domain (FDTD) is employed for design and analysis of the Grating based OSC. Based on the design parameters the structure of the OSC was analysed for double grating structure which helps in light trapping. It is observed that the absorption in active layer is nearly 65% in OSC structure with double grating structure.
IoT based Smart and Efficient Hearing Aid using ARM Cortex Microcontroller Bina Rajan, B Bhavana, K R Anusha, G Kusumanjali, G S Pavithra Proceedings of the International Conference on Smart Technologies in Computing Electrical and Electronics Icstcee 2020, 2020 Hearing loss is often associated with poor performance and incident dementia that leads to reduced social engagements, loneliness, and depression. Hearing aids are a solution for hearing loss. Traditional Hearing aids are an electroacoustic device that blocks noise and enhances target sound out of a multi-source mixture. In some cases when the source objects are devices such as mobiles, laptops, or television a higher distortion happens when the traditional hearing aid amplifies the multi-source mixture which leads the wearer unable to extract the exact information conveyed. This paper proposes a smart internet of things based hearing aid which is cost-effective, reliable, and secured. The smart hearing aid compounds the properties of system on- chip property of micro-controllers which allows the user to connect the internet of things based device directly to the hearing aid, therefore, limiting the multi-source mixture. The micro-controller is equipped with an advance digital signal processor that helps in the separation of acoustic sounds and functions more enhanced compared to the traditional ear aids commercially produced.
