CNPq PhD fellow at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and visiting researcher at CIEBA/FBAUL via an international cooperation project (Brazil-Portugal) in 2023. With a PhD in Visual Arts in progress and approved qualification at the State University of Santa Catarina, he has a master's degree in Visual Arts from the same institution and a degree in Visual Arts from the State University of Maringá (PR). He researches painting and painting teaching, the concept of micropractice in painting as experience and the painting studio as a field of aesthetic experience. As a visual artist, he has participated in regional and international art exhibitions. He is a member of the Apotheke Painting Studio Study Group, a researcher in visual arts, and a professor of art and art history. His current researches consider painting and arts teaching.
