E3s Web of Conferences, 2021 The global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) affects every part of human life, including the physical world. The measures taken to control the spread of the virus have had a significant impact on slowing economic activity and the quality of the environment. This study discusses the macroeconomic variables on environmental quality during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between economic growth, human quality, poverty, and global trade on the quality of the environment in Indonesia. The data used a cross-sectional study for 34 provinces in Indonesia during 2020, while it analyzed the data using a multiple linear regression approach. The study results found that human quality has a positive effect on environmental quality in Indonesia, while the economic growth, poverty, and global trade variables have a negative effect. Novelty in this study examines the factors in the economy that affect the environment in the pandemic era.
Loyalty and Word of Mouth of Muslim Women who Use Mobile Commerce in Indonesia Saiful Anwar, Mochlasin Mochlasin, Rosana Eri Puspita, Arna Asna Annisa, Mohammad Rofiuddin, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2021 The Covid-19 pandemic, which causes social distancing, has an impact on a surge of buying and selling through mobile commerce. On the other hand, customers are at the risk of online service failure in m-commerce. This research tested the quality model of m-commerce service that integrates the justice variable from the Islamic perspective on Muslim women's loyalty and word of mouth with satisfaction as the mediating variable and personal innovation and customer expertise as the moderating variables. This research is survey research involving 323 Muslim women who use the C2C m-commerce platform services in Indonesia. Data analysis is presented in Structural Equation Modeling. The result shows that distributive justice, procedural justice, visual appeal, ease of use, and security influenced satisfaction, while information quality, load speed, and interactional justice did not affect satisfaction. This research proves that the principle of justice in buying and selling process for Muslim women exists in the m-commerce service so that it plays a positive role in satisfaction which has an impact on the loyalty and word of mouth of Muslim women. This research contributes to providing theoretical background as a service standard for m-commerce platforms that are user-friendly for Muslim women.
Online Shopping Behavior among Food Consumers during Pandemic: a Cross Generation Study Rosana Eri Puspita, Yasinta Zulaikha, Arna Asna Annisa, Rifda Nabila, Mohammad Rofiuddin, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2021 Shopping for food is a necessity that will continue to occur before the pandemic, during a pandemic, and post-pandemic. Pandemics that occur around the world also affect human behaviour, including food shopping behaviour. This study aims to analyze shopping behaviour and changes in shopping behaviour during a pandemic. Consumers prefer to choose online shopping in pandemic situations according to safety. Data were collected by interviewing 12 respondents from the generation of baby boomers, X, Y, and Z. The data were processed using a qualitative approach using N-Vivo software. Research results showed that there were differences in food shopping behaviour during the pandemic. This research suggests that the food industry pays attention to shopping behaviour change during a pandemic to change strategies to get opportunities in the market. Novelty in this study is the first cross-generational qualitative analysis of food shopping behaviour among Indonesian consumers.
Does Economic Growth Reduce Pollution? Empirical Evidence from Low Income Countries Mohammad Rofiuddin, Siti Aisyah, Desy Nur Pratiwi, Arna Asna Annisa, Rosana Eri Puspita, et al. E3s Web of Conferences, 2019 The issue of environmental degradation has long been associated as a residue of the economic development process, especially in low income countries. Development activities have to continue nevertheless, because people's welfare is the goal. This study aims to find the impact of economic growth, population and energy consumption to environmental pollution. Another purpose is to prove the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. The methods utilized is panel data regression with fixed effect model using Drisscol-Kraay estimator. The result of the study indicates that increased per capita GDP and population leads to environmental pollution in low income countries, while energy consumption has no significant effect. The result also confirmed the EKC hypothesis in low income countries.
Income Inequality in Indonesia: Panel Data of 34 Provinces 2014-2016 Rofiuddin Mohammad, Firmansyah E3s Web of Conferences, 2018 Income inequality is the difference in the ability of people to have goods or services, and more broadly, it is the problem of community welfare. Income inequality can be measured at regional, national and global level. Income inequality in Indonesia,, which representing by Gini index, is still relatively high, even though the number tends to decline. The high level of income inequality is influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth, population and provincial minimum wage toward income inequality in Indonesia. By applying a fixed-effect of panel data regression model of the 34 provinces along 2014-2016, the study finds that economic growth and population do not affect the income inequality, while provincial minimum wage has the negative effect.
